I have really sensitive, acne-prone skin and I've tried everything from Neutrogena to expensive mail-order-only spa stuff from France, including Proactiv, and the only thing I've ever found that didn't (eventually) make my skin react badly, turn red, hurt, and start breaking out again is a skincare line called Boscia.

I've been using Boscia for about a year now, which is a record for me, and my skin looks great. I use the purifiying cleansing gel, balancing facial tonic, oil-free daily hydration SPF-15, and recharging night moisture. I tried the willow bark breakout treatment but my skin is too sensitive for it.

Another product that I love is Origin's Clear Improvement active charcoal clay mask. It's the best mask ever, but it's powerful and if you leave it on too long it will cause a breakout because it's pulling so much bad stuff out. Less is more, rinse it off as soon as it dries and don't use it more than once a week (I use it every other week). Even though it's powerful, it's quite pleasant for a clay mask, doesn't pull on your skin too much.

good old all natural honey // its antiseptic or antimicrobial properties help kill bacteria and fight acne.

Use uncooked honey, apply to face and pat until sticky. Leave in place for five minutes. Honey enzymes rejuvenate the skin and act as an antimicrobial.

Tea tree oil has been shown to remove and stop the growth of bacteria on the skin. An Australian study showed that a 5 percent tea tree oil gel was as effective as 5 percent benzoyl peroxide. Tea tree oil is the only essential oil (except for lavender) that can be applied directly to the skin with no carrier oil. Like other antimicrobials, tea tree oil should be used in a consistent daily regimen to prevent infections.

I am a teen but the anti agin was still best. It cleared up my skin and made it very nice and firm. Hope this helps...
