my husband fell a little while ago ,his ankle is swollen,bruised and he cant put any weight on it when he does he is in pain and has to sit down also should he go to the emergency room or wait till he sees his doctor tomorrow morning? thank you

I'm 14, female, healthy, and as active as any normal kid. But about twice a week I have spontaneous leg pain - sometimes the left, sometimes the right, never both. It's a shooting pain, when I put pressure on it or move it in a certain way it just shoots down - sometimes making me fall over of immobile. It's usually from the top of my thigh to just above my knee. I have no idea why it happens - does anyone have a similar problem or some idea of what might be wrong?

I had uncured gastritis for a long.I didn't give much trouble before.But now it started giving me aching pain in a morning,i wouldn't say unbearable but intense enough to wake me up.
Unfortunately,I don't have much funds to go to a regular hospital beacuse I'm a foreign student.And if you know where i can check my condition in New York please tell me!

um.. well i thought my friends were kind of crazy cuz they were going into their hot tub and it was like cold outside like not VERY cold but u know and i live in Illinois and i wa like wuldnt u be cold? and they were like no bec it's hot water and im like yeah but maybe when u get out n they were like no its not cold when u get out... soooooo whos right? me or my friends?

I just got my braces off a couple days ago and am very disappointed in the results. The ortho I go to is actually pretty popular and very accredited, so I know he know what he's doing. Still, after 2+ years with braces I STILL have buck teeth! Granted, they arent as bad as they were before, but im still not happy with it. When I smile I can feel the teeth pushing against my bottom lip. It just doesn't feel right. It's been almost a week and I thought maybe I just needed to get used to it, but even my mom noticed that they weren't as straight as they should be. I have another appointment to pick up my retainers next week. What should I say? Do I have any options to fix this problem? I know retainers just hold the teeth in place and dont actually move them, so does this mean im screwed?

I had Gastric Bypass Roux en Y procedure done back in 2002. I weighed about 230lbs, 5'2" tall. After surgery I weighed 155lbs. I got pregnant in 2004 and had a beautiful daughter who weighed 5lbs 3oz (i hear small babies are common after surgery). I lost 10lbs in the beginning of my pregnancy. Ended up gaining 20 later on, then lost 20lbs when she was born! So having a baby actually helped me! LOL. But since then its like the weight just keeps creaping back! I'm at 172lbs now! I know its not a lot, and its still a looong way from where I started. But I have heard that doctors are now doing a LapBand surgery after having Gastric Bypass and gaining weight back. Has anybody had this done? What are the risks? Are they higher since I've already had the Bypass? Do insurances still cover this? Any information on LapBand (or any other Weight Loss Surgery) after Gastric Bypass Roux En Y would be a lot of help! THANK YOU! :)

Hi,
I have had a kind of dull ache in the region of my heart for a couple of months now, nothing outrageous, just feels like someone is applying pressure with a thumb (it's that localised) to my chest. I don't really want to go to the doctors and have that on my medical record, but I am a little concerned! I also have a little numbness in my fingers when I grab things, could this be physcosematic, or indacative of a problem, also if it is a problem, does it sound like something that can be treated, or will I just have to live with it until it gets worse? Iam 46 overweight by about 4 stone, and I smoke (recipie for disaster I know), any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

He had a psychotic episode. Took him to the psych ward. Couple of days later social worker asked us a couple of questions and we explained he has been stressed out lately and was using marijuana heavily, he was diagnosed. I have been reading everything on this disease and the major symptoms are hallucinations and delusions. We have asked him several times if he is seeing/hearing things and he says no.I don't know if he is telling the truth cause he doesn't want the meds. The psych word is no help. They will not tell us anything cause of privacy laws. I want to definitely get a second opinion. Symptoms I have observed include Restlessness_Always wants to go outside. Can't sleep. Trance like state. Preoccupied with religion and his mission to save everyone. Always stretching. word ryhming but makes sense when he talks. Can't stay long enough on one subject.Has been off and on the meds for a month. Is this schizo. Please give me SPECIFIC examples of symptoms. I have doubts

I have another one that 6.4mm and my work is heavy and fast paced and he said there was a 50/50 chance of it rupturing. Shouldn`t I have been hospitalized and tested right away? I had a concussion from being hit on the head at work and kept getting sicker over 2 mo. period. On tues. last wk I had a severe headache was pale, weak and sick at my stomach, sore neck and back and black cicrle under eyes since accident.and sleepy alot. Dr. said this has nothing to do with the aneurysm. Should I get a second opponion?

sometimes it will itch and it would get some bumps. im just wondering if i have a bacterial or a yeast infection or something else.unno but i would see like yellowish white stuff on my underwear.

-for some reason i havent had my period in like 4 or 5 months
and unno if its just me but after i pee,, i feel like a have some pee left and it comes out.(i know its gross, i just dont want this to happen anymore)
its embarrasing cuz sometimes we have to sit on the floor and i have to close my legs cuz it smells fishy.i dont want to tell my mom cuz its awkward.
