It sounds like you have bacterial vaginosis (fishy odor is only a symptom of BV). This is Very common, and it is not understood how women get this infection (could be an irritant from bathing soaps, diet, too tight clothing [that creates a hot damp environment "down there"], DOUCHING [douching leaves a woman susceptible to yeast and bacterial infections], etc.)
Bacterial Vaginosis occurs when there is an upset in the balance of the natural bacteria in the vagina: there are "good" bacteria (in the Lactobacillus family {look on wikipedia}) and "bad" bacteria. Bacterial infections occur when the "bad" bacteria out-number the "good" bacteria.
You should tell you mom, don't be embarrassed, and go to a GYN because if this infection is left untreated (for a long period of time) can not only be very embarrassing but can lead to infertility.

You need to talk to your mom, and she needs to take you to a doctor!

It sounds like you have a yeast infection. Your doctor can prescribe medicine for this, and it can be CURED in about a week.

Yeast infections SUCK. Left untreated, it can spread to other portions of your body. GET MEDICAL TREATMENT ASAP.

You are only 14? Don't worry about skipping some periods at this point. That is totally normal. Your body is still adjusting to having periods, so you will experience some irregularities at this part of life.

To help your body cleanse itself, start eating yogurt (about once a day if you can) and drink lots of water and cranberry juice. The yogurt will help balance your body's natural chemistry, and the liquids will start to wash the infection away.

You still need to SEE YOUR DOCTOR though.
