Health - 18 November 2007

Hi
I have a really nasty cold at the moment and last night, noticed a lump under my arm that is also quite painful. I'm assuming it's just a swollen gland due to the cold but you know how the imagination runs away when you're awake at 3am surrounded by tissues!!!
Do I need to see my doc about this lump or is it just because of my cold?

in '05 i was in a car accident and broke both femurs, lost a chunk of my thigh, broke both sides of my pelvic, shattered my right elbow, ruptured my spleen and liver...now at 21 i have arthritis and joint pain i also get migraines, and i still have swelling in my legs...pain killers make me feel hung over and don't get rid of the pain...when i was introduced to pot, i realized it helped with my pain and still help me function, as hard as it is to believe for some of you on your high horse who look down on pot, & most people do, so if you don't have a helpful solution then no thanks to your answers! and don't think i am encouraging pot, to each is own, but i would like to find out if there is any other alternative and if people can let me inn on it, because pot has become too much of a liability for me, and i'm sick of having to just live with my pain! thanks you in advance!

So my drains kept backing up in the bathroom and I got online to do some research for home remedies before paying buco bucks to have a plumber come out. Results were dishsoap + bleach + hot water = ferocious flush and no burping in the shower and sink. No one said anything about a sore throat, cough, and nausia. I laid in bed most of the day thinking I had a fever, and after having the windows open for a while, I started feeling better. I'm drinking lots of liquids, but I don't know if I should be scared of any lingering gases. I still don't feel well and I don't know if that's the problem.

I really wish I knew where to even start.
Alright, I make 6.50 an hour (plus tips) at an ice cream place..My boss is a neat freak and always wants the place in tip top condition. I spend tons of my time bending over back wards for this guy.. He throws temper tantrums like a child, talks about me behind my back and despite my efforts to try and talk to him, I am always wrong. To give you an idea of what kind of jerk he is.. His son was sick one day and called him to come pick him up from school, so my boss goes "great now im on my sons f##### schedule!". He continued to have a fit about how everyone is running the store except him and he is on everyone elses schedule instead of his own.
I can't quit.. I have no other job and no time to look for one. What should I say or do???? This is a man who's "Always right" and makes everyone else feel stupid. Thinks that he should be in control always..very OCD. *Sigh*

I'm bipolar and my mood changes within the day and I swear sometimes within minutes. But depression is always there, like I'm depressed all the time but sometimes its like I'm 25% depressed and other times its 75% etc. but I'm always depressed. The moods are like that as well, some days are crazy and some days are lax but whenever I'm manic the depression is just to the side and it like tugs at me until I finally crash from the high (which is basically a lot of anger, anxiety, and overflow of thoughts and paranoia). Is this still bipolar?

I had my hands in bleach water approx 2 hours ago and I washed them like 4 or 5 times. Then they were really dry and red so i put some lotion on them and they are BURNING and are even redder!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I quit smoking over a year ago but my breathing hasn't improved at all. In fact, I constantly get asthma-type symptoms. On top of that, I get moderate acid reflux and my appatite is severly deminished. I have a hard time stomaching 2 meals a day. If I eat to much or too quickly, I get reflux-induced asthma. It is really detrimenting my life. To make matters worse, I have borderline gastroperesis. Because fo that, I am stuck in the house most of the time, and traveling is really hard because I have to know where bathrooms are, constantly! I can barely drive for 5 minutes without needing a bathroom unless I make sure that I have nothing in my stomach before I leave. At the same time however, if there is nothing in my stomach, I get more reflux. Its a no-win situation. Does anyone else have these problems? Has anyone found something that helps? Reglan, the only medication on the market, does not work for me, I am allergic to it. Does anyone know of any natural remidies?

I finally decided that I really need to at least for a while. What do you do on a Friday night? Where do the sober girls go? Will I turn into a recluse? For some reason, mozzies keep eating me alive, when I'm asleep.
The only problem is that last night only my face, neck, and feet were hanging out, so they are all covered in bites.
The ones on my face especially are very swollen, and look horrible.
Can somebody please tell me how to get rid of the swelling.
Or stop the mozzies eating me.
Any help is appreciated, thanks.
