Yeah they are just irritates. I know I should use gloves but my if I told my stepdad I wasn't touching it without gloves, he woulda killed me. It doesn't matter to him whether my hands are atg risk or not. that's just how selfish he really is!!!!!

ChewyLuv.......sweetie, you've got to use gloves when you're dealing with chemicals. When I read the topic of your question, I just knew it was chemical related.
One of the posters suggested that you call the poison control center, have you called?
Please be careful and let us know how you're doing, okay?

Bleach is a caustic alkali (high pH). You might neutralize (stop the reaction) it with something mildly acidic (low pH) like vinegar or lemon juice, or even Coca Cola if that's all you have on hand. (Soap and water do not really have a high enough pH to effectively neutralize low-pH chlorine bleach; in fact, most soaps are alkaline themselves.) Then after all the exposure to alkali and acid you will certainly need to use a mild cream or lotion to allow your skin to rehydrate itself and replenish natural oils.
"Household bleach and pool chlorinator solutions are typically stabilized by a significant concentration of lye (caustic soda, NaOH) as part of the manufacturing reaction. Skin contact will produce caustic irritation or burns due to defatting and saponification of skin oils and destruction of tissue. The slippery feel of bleach on skin is due to this process."

Most lotions contain alcohol and so it is burning. Ask the pharmacist to recommend their best natural skin creme. The aloe vera or vitamin E oil will work. IF you have some E capsules cut them open and put the oil on your hands.

this happened to me a yr ago. i got chemical burn all over my hands from bleach and clorox (NOT A GOOD MATCH!). pretty soon afterwards, the skin on my hands was peeling off, it was like i was a snake shedding my skin it SUCKED and it hurt really bad, i had to go to the ER and miss 3 days of work while i waited for the prescription cream to start healing me. it really sucked, but i learned my lesson and i use gloves at all cleaning times now!

OUCH! Do your hands look burned or only irritated?
If they're just irritated, keep away from products with alcohol in it for awhile.
Try wrapping your hands in a damp rag. The dampness and pressure may help a little.
If they're blistering or look burned, though, you should go to the Dr.
Hope you feel better soon!

You need to call poison control and they will tell you what to do. BLEACH IS TOXIC so please use gloves next time if you insist on using that type of thing. For now call poison control ASAP.
