well to be honest i think you have either a hernea, ecoli, or menincockilmeninjidis which is pretty close to a hernea and my last conclusion as a person majoring in medical school is that you need to shave your butt hole

Make sure you wipe well, and clean yourself well in the shower (if you use a sprayer head on a cord, you'll be really clean) and fully dry the area.
You may have a fungal infection, like jock itch, especially if it itches more at night, especially around bedtime. Most guys just treat the crotch area for jock itch, but your butt hole is warm and moist and those conditions are great for a fungus. Use a anti-fungal creme before bed on the area and it should help with the itching. You can also by an anti-itching cream to put on at the same time.
Another reason could be from anal fissures, which are tiny tears in the rectal wall. These usually occur during a difficult constipation, when you are bearing down really hard. Your sphincter resists, and tears occur. The best way to treat those are to drink plenty of water, increase your fiber, and use a stool softener, such as Colace. If you gently insert a finger into your anus about 1/4 - 1/2 inch and there's a sharp pain, it could be hemorrhoids, and it's best to visit a doctor if that's the case.

Remnants of poo in your anus can cause itching so just clean yourself man. In fact wash it if possible after taking a sh..t. Or use a wet-wipe. Clean right up inside. You'll get no tramlines in your undies then.

Old proverb " Itchy bum surprise to come" - LOL - I imagine it will go away by itself - just keep it as clean as you can and don't eat spices for a few days.

Could be a fungus or could be pin worms. (I had those as a kid, and the itch was unbearable). See your doctor, as the treatment depends on the cause, and it's almost impossible for you to diagnose yourself -- or for us to do it for you.
