What is your reconmandation for the best Anti-depresent?

You have to work that out with your psychiatrist. There are lots of effective ones on the market, but some people respond to some and not others.

Then there can be side effects - that can be a very individual kind of response. It might even turn out that two different ones have the same anti-depressant effect for you, but different side effects. Now you need to choose one or the other based on which side effects are easier to tolerate.

Unfortunately, there's no way to know which will be effective for you and have acceptable side effects until you try one. Then, if that doesn't work, you need to clear it out of your system and try another. Each drug trial will take at least a month. A good psychiatrist will often have clinical intution that gets a good one for you on the first or second try, but you can't count on that.

I wish you a quick and successful hunt.

The best anti-depressant is having a positive outlook on life, even when don't get what you want all the time.

You will not need to worry about this.
When you talk to your doctor and discuss the symptoms you are experiencing, you and he/she will agree on a certain medication(s) that could help with the way your depression is presenting itself. Try to think about explaining how you feel and what is going on for you is more important.
Good Luck

Each person's chemistry is unique, so if say Zoloft works best for me, it might not work at all for you and might make a third person suicidal. There is no answer to your question.

There are several different kinds but I prefer not to recommend any that is up to a doctor to do that. Also how your system will react plays a big factor in his or her decision.

Its trial-and-error. Prozac had too many side effects for me, but Wellbutrin works great - that's the only ones I have used, so i don't know if there is something better for me.
