i have basketball in about half an hour and i usually wear knee braces to practice but i dont have them today and cant get them till tomorrow. do you guys have any ideas on what i could use to help support my knee?

I'm 13 now and i've been suffering from depression for about 2 years.I'm on prozac, but it isn't helping.I'm seeing a phscologist for about half a year, that isn't helping either.And i'm seriously thinking about killing myself. I just don't understand why i'm so unhappy.I have good friends,family and i'm get good marks at school.If i'm not happy now i'll never be.Everyone thinks i'm getting better.I don't know how to tell them i can't cope - it just upsets everyone. Please give some suggestions...

I have had my jaw locked up for about 6 months, they put me on muscle relaxers to try and relax everything and have it go back in place, that didnt work so i got a mouthguard, its been several months now and that hasnt worked, I am wondering what the next step may be. i have been living on ibprofen now forever and the pain just gets worse. We are m in between states right now (moving) so i cant get to the dentist for a few months....just wondering if anyone knows what i can expect next

Well, I'm just gonna say it. This past weekend, i went to a party and unfortunately got extremely intoxicated. I found out the next morning that i ended up hooking up and going all the way with my ex-boyfriend. I bearly remember ANY of it and a lot of people are telling me that he completely took advantage and that i was nearly passed out...

I haven't talked to him since the "incident" and i'm so scared as to what happened...he probably didn't use protection and i don't know where he's been since we dated...

i'm so lost...what should i do? there is no way i can tell my parents...they still think i haven't gotten my first kiss and i'm 17. yeah, telling my parents is not possible...ughh

My father passed away 11 days ago,and since then ,my 76 - year - old Mother has been having severe memory problems;she can't remember birthdays,names of people she knows,how many states there are,etc. She had a CAT scan of her brain ,bloodwork and the doctor examined her today.There was nothing out of the ordinary,and he said that the memory loss could be from the stress of losing my father,but he put her on the Alzheimer's drugs Aricept and Namenda.I would appreciate it if anyone who has family members on these drugs could give me an idea of what to expect in the way of side effects,etc,and do these drugs really help at all? Also does anyone have any advice as to natural remedies ( herbs,etc,) that may help? Thank you in advance.

Hi i'm a 13 year old gilr and i get really bad cramps never before my period but always when im on it and it really hurts many pepole on the internet say drink some tea and have a warm bath but i hate tea it makes me sick for some resone and i cant take a bath becouse it will make the bath bloddy and i cant use tampond becouse i cant get them in have you guys got any ides please help soon.

hi, I'm in my early 20's and have a hearing impairment.
I'm having a test in a couple of weeks to see if I need hearing aids.

My hearing is bad enough that if I'm not concentrating or looking at the person who is speaking I either don't hear them speak at all or I hear their voice but not the words.
I have to have the subtitles on when I watch the T.V and I have terrible trouble hearing people on the phone.

The strange thing is I speak quite softly and quitely and I can hear myself speak no problem, which makes people think I don't have a hearing problem, but am just being rude and that I only hear when I wish to. Neither of these things are true but that is what people think.

My question is, from what I've said above do you think I will be offered hearing aids?

Also, how much hearing loss must you have to have hearing aids?

Today at school it was just a normal day, but at 7th hour i yawned and after I closed my mouth i felt extreme pain just behind the right side of my jaw, behind my chin. It felt somewhat hard, and like bubble gum with rocks in it, not as squishy though. I was wondering what was going on, but I opened my mouth as wide as it can, again and the tissue went away. Now it hurts every time I swallow on the big round area above my throat. My right ear and eye is also kind of hurting. I'm kinda worried about this as I have been told by my dentist that I have severe jaw popping.

I don't know what's going on, if it will heal itself or if I need to go to the hospital. Any advice would do! Thanks!

My friend has been complaining that her stomach hurts really bad. It feels "hard", and everytime she eats she feels like "the food is squeezing it's way through really hard". She said something before about "her intestines shrinking" and something about it being a chronic disease. I don't think she's telling me everything because she'll know I'll cry! She can't even go to the doctor's office until January! Please help =(

I am on weight watchers..and I average 2.5 lbs a week loss..is that good? or bad?

It hurts the most after I eat.......I thought it was an ulcer..but the pain isnt in just one spot so it can't be...then I thought it was just gas....but it's not that either. can anyone help me? It's really painful...and has not gone away....I can only eat bland foods or im in terrible pain. Could it be my liver?? What's going on.....I'm going to speak to a doctor..but first wanted views from other people..before speaking to him. I am a female if that has any connection..but i doubt it

my mother has been ill for quite a while with heart problems, hip and back problems, in the last two years she has become immobile and suffered many falls, the last fall has seen her in hosptial where she has become totally confused and makes no sense at all, she has also become mobile again to some extent with little or no pain which she has suffered from for years due to her back and hip. she has no infection and the dr's are looking at brain scans, but this is all so sudden, can anyone give me an idea what is going on.
