Oh sweetie... did you tell your psycologist that you are still having these thoughts and feelings? If not please do. Maybe they can adjust your meds. As a parent it saddens me to read this.
I hope you can find the help or suggestion you need. Please please tell someone you are still having these thoughts.

First off, if nothing is helping, then you need to tell someone. I think telling people you can't cope is far less upsetting then you taking your own life. If you're seeing a psychologist, then you need to be honest in your sessions. They can't read your mind, and it's their job to try to help you. If you're not feeling better, then next session tell your therapist straight out, you don't feel any better than the first day you started talking to them. Start being honest. You haven't been addressing the problems that make you depressed, so it won't get any better until you do. Please don't think you'll never be happy. If you start being honest with everyone, you'll find happiness. You are far too young to have all the answers and suicide is a permenent thing. At the very least, try everything before giving up. If your therapist isn't helping, then find another one. If the meds aren't working, then try something else. But the worst thing you can do is keep this all bottled up inside just to please everyone else. You HAVE to honestly tell someone how you feel. Start with your therapist, it's what they are for. Good Luck.

sweetheart what caused your initial feelings of depression. Usually getting to the root cause of this can be a long way into helping you find a cure. You need to tell your psychologist that its not working and your DR and also your parents , it may upset them but that is because they care. They want to help you, imagine how upset they would be if you were not here. You need to find coping strategies to help you cope when things get a bit to much for you. There is a deep rooted cause here that you need to get to the bottom of OK until you do you will not get better.
Suicide is not the answer Hun, trust me.
By reading this message you've already put space between your suicidal feelings and your actions. It's worth making more space, and putting off the decision until you've spoken to someone who might be able to help you with your pain. Don't burden yourself by trying to cope alone. Just talking about how you came to feel this way releases a lot of pressure, which might be exactly the additional coping resource that you need.

Yes, because they are expecting too much from you and all you are doing is looken at all the negatives in your life. First thing I would do is take you off those meds but I am not your mother. You need to tell your family and the doctors that you just dont feel the meds are working for you. I would personally put you on supplements as you are prob missing out on some but you only being 13 your pretty much stuck to your parents pumping you full of drugs only to find out the terrible side effects or damage that have done to you over prolonged use.

Depression is a medical imbalance, isn't it?
It will NOT get better on it's own. You MUST tell your doctor and family, so they can get you the help you need!!
Don't you realise that everyone is doing this for you?? If it's not working, it's not you, it's the medication/therapy.
That's it.

Think of it this way - imagine you had a dog that you really, really loved. You scratched it behind his ears, which he doesn't like. You do it day after day, week after week, and he doesn't like it. You'd want to know that he didn't like it, right?? It's not about being a bad dog, it's just not what he likes. The dog is you!! Speak up!! Tell people how you're feeling! They want to help you, they love you!!

You have just taken the first step to asking for help and that really is the hardest one. If you can now think of someone that you can really talk to whether it is at school, at home - a close friend or relative or just someone who lives up the road then try and have a chat with them. Make sure it is someone you are really comfortable and safe with. They won't think you are stupid or that you can't cope and they would rather that you told them how you are feeling than for you to feel that you had no-one to talk to. Please give them the chance to show you how much they care about you. Good luck.

Hello.
I for one believe what you are saying. I think you need some serious help. No matter what make a decision not to hurt yourself. You are worth so much and you need to know that. You are 13 and you need to ask for help in a more serious manner. In other words get someones attention who is willing to listen to you. You are very valuable and worth saving.
If no one listens go to the police, church, school councillor, or some other relative who is understanding. But in no case hurt yourself. You are beautiful and young and 13 is a very tough age. So be gentle with yourself and breath. Be kind to you, what you are going through is not easy.
Peace to You.

You say you don't understand why you're so unhappy because you seem to have everything going for you. That's what depression will do to you. Not telling people is upsetting you - better to be honest, at least with your Psychologist. You wont get better until you get the help you need.

Check with your doctor about that prozac,,it could be that affecting you..some of those meds, have been known to increase suicidal thoughts...it sounds like a medical condition, I'd change doctors as well..

You about have to tell them the medicine isn't working, Sugar and Spice. Otherwise, they aren't going to know to try something different.

Teen years aren't really very comfortable anyway. Try to take it easy, Honey. You'll get through them.
