My friend has been complaining that her stomach hurts really bad. It feels "hard", and everytime she eats she feels like "the food is squeezing it's way through really hard". She said something before about "her intestines shrinking" and something about it being a chronic disease. I don't think she's telling me everything because she'll know I'll cry! She can't even go to the doctor's office until January! Please help =(

Thanks for really being a friend indeed. My answer is that she can check for ulcer or appendisites. Also encourage her to see a doctor

Thanks

It could be Chrons disease, but don't jump to conclusions. Here's a link to a list of causes for stomach cramps and abdominal pain. http://www.wrongdiagnosis.com/symptoms/stomach_cramps/causes.htm
Also, if it were anything incredibly urgent your friend would have had to go to the doctor already, right? I hope this helps and I hope your friends get well soon.
