Hello Pubby

Sorry to hear your still sore.

As a lot of others have said, it can take ages for things to settle down.

If its only soreness as the symptom then I would not worry.

However, if at any time you get pain, redness, swelling etc you must see your Doctor straight away.

There are things you can do at home to help.

Do you go commando or wear boxer shorts? If so, stop and wear Y Fronts - they support your testicles and will help them recover and protect you.

During sex, it may be better if you use a position that does not make them 'swing too and throw' if you see what I mean.

Take hot baths. When you are in the bath, gently cradle your testicles in your hand and gently roll then around, if you find the sore spot very gently massage it between your thumb and fore finger.

Good Luck.

Testicular Pain Years After Vasectomy

Most often premature ejaculation occurs in younger men, but it can affect men of all ages. There could be a number of different reasons for the problems, both physical and psychological. The good news is that there are certain solutions available that have proven effective, such as the Ejaculation Trainer (see site here http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=565), which can show a man how to develop permanent ejaculation control. By successfully addressing a man’s ejaculation concerns and teaching him how to control it, he will quickly become more confident and both he and his partner will be much more satisfied.
Cheers ;)

Clearly you got too physical too soon after the surgery. This will happen to about 2/3 of men that can't wait to start lifting, riding a bicycle, sex, or whatever.

It rarely happens to men that follow directions.

My former room-mate did the same thing. He thought he was going to die after he jumped out of his pickup truck, only three days after his vasectomy.

The doctor can help.

The real question is what possessed you 12 weeks ago to....

Never mind, why are you asking us =p? Call the doctor and ask him if it is normal for you to still be in pain. Sometimes when I get kicked down there I hurt for 12 hours so...

Of course it still hurts...all the parts are still there and functional and if the nerves were cut then he would no longer be able to have an erection now would he? If it can still feel pleasure than it can definitely feel pain.

Something must be really wrong. I was having sex in a couple of weeks or less. See a DIFFERENT Doctor. You don't want to lose it all.

It could be caused by an infection, I suggest you go back to the doctor. My husband had infection after his surgery...not 12 weeks, but sooner, and he had to take antibiotics.

because you were lied to that you would be up and moving around in 2-4 days. i know of people that have had minor pain lingering years later and for all intents and purposes they are healthy as a horse. in fact, personally, mine still hurt when i run down stairs over 3 years later.

be gentle and allow yourself PLENTY of time to recover. you can also call your dr. as i am NOT a dr.

best of luck.
