It's really painful...and has not gone away....I can only eat bland foods or im in terrible pain. Could it be my liver?? What's going on.....I'm going to speak to a doctor..but first wanted views from other people..before speaking to him. I am a female if that has any connection..but i doubt it

I would say it sounds like Acid Reflux. Your doc will most likely give you Nexium or something like it and see how you do for a month.

Good Luck - I know how much AR sucks!

Sounds like it could be acid reflux....a condition where the acid in the stomach is not in proper balance, and this causes food not to be properly digested, and sometimes the acids come up into the esophagus, giving one the feeling of "heartburn", and sometimes feels like you are going to throw up what you just ate. Most common meds for it are prevacid and prilosec.....the same dosage the doctor would give you for prilosec is now available over the counter, for about $20 for a 3 week supply....it helps counter the acidity levels in the digestive system.....I know because I was just put on it myself.....my symptoms started with getting hiccups almost every day, and having the feeling like I was going to throw up.....but don't have a whole lot of pain like you describe......yours could be something more involved.....could be an ulcer, or both problems combined.....go to your doc to be sure.

you might have a gallbladder problem. look up info on gallbladder and see if your syptoms match. I wouldn't be suprised if thats what it is. Also theres a type of bacterial infection that can cause stomach problems. In the mean time eat smaller meals and avoid irritating stuff like spicy or greasy food and alchohol. Yes definitely see your doc. you'll probably be referred to a GI specialist for some testing. I hope you feel better.

It does sound like an ulcer. Maybe you have multiple ulcers. The bland food thing is what makes it seem so much like ulcers. Good luck at the dr's.

There are two problems here.

1) You need to see a medical doctor and soon, don't wait to ask the world to guess.

2) Anyone that would give you medical advice on your problem on this without an examination and medical license is crazy and dangerous.

It sounds like the bacteria H. Pylori which is responsible for acid reflux, ulcers and ultimately stomach cancer. Ask your doctor to test you for it. It is treatable with antibiotics. Good luck!

Maybe a hiatal hernia - a hernia where the esophagus an stomach join, gas develops and can make that hurt. Good luck.

My Granmother had something like that, for a long time. She finally takes a purple pill for that and it helped. Also, she needed a strong antibiotic as she had a bacteria in the stomach. So they did the Antibiotic, and the Purple Pill and it cured her. Good Luck....
