He is having trouble finding work--been laid off since June. Nothing seems to work out. He constantly worries about urine tests since he is on Methadone for drug recovery and most places won't hire if you are on that. (we found that out). I have been slowly going back into depression I think.. the only time I feel good is when I lay down and I don't want to go to work. I have to go back to work tomorrow and face it all. I feel so lazy and glume. I am even somewhat jealous of my husband. He is so smart--smarter than myself when it comes to book sense and I am a teacher. I hate feeling like a nobody in an adult body. I see my psychiatrist tomorrow evening and I don't even know what to say. I don 't know if I am depressed or just plain lazy and angry. What is your take?

First off my name is Courtney and I'm 19. Just over two weeks ago I was in a car accident while on my way home from a halloween party. I suffered major neck and head trauma as a result of the accident, and I also fractured both my wrists. I leave the hospital in five days, just in time to be home for Thanksgiving.

For the past three years I've gone shopping on Black Friday and I don't want a stupid accident to keep me from going this year. I'm able to walk just fine but I'm really insecure about going out because of how I currently look.

I'm currently sporting this lovely brace http://www.ossur.com/lisalib/getfile.aspx?itemid=10669 in support of my broken neck and spinal cord injuries, and I'm also sporting two arm casts to help heal my broken wrists.

I wouldn't mind going out if I just had the arm casts, but I'm really insecure about going out in that stupid brace. Everyone's going to be staring at me, what do I do???

i have just been on a site that was aboout cancer. I was looking at the symptoms, annd they seem 2 match mine

im 21, and i am suffring with a pain in myleft side of my back in the middle. It hurts more when i am sat down. I have also comee on my period again, when i onli just come off a week and 4 days ago.

I'm curious about something and maybe a health care professional can answer this. My dad was in hospital with West Nile. Because his spinal tap came back as positive for infection, they treated him with antibiotics for the HPV virus, (as a preventative as they didn't know what he had at this point). So what I want to know is if this is the same HPV virus as the sexually transmitted one?

They stopped the HPV antibiotic treatment once it was confirmed as West Nile, however I'm just curious why something like HPV was suspected in the first place, as his symptoms were high fever, tremors, incoherency and confusion, headache, etc. and really he just slipped into unconsciousness. I've never heard of that associated with the sexually transmitted HPV and I'm certain that they said they were treating for HPV infection as a precautionary.

Can HPV cause all those symptoms my dad had? Or would this be another strain or type of HPV?

In July I was diagnosed w/kidney stones. Woke up in middle of night w/worse pain ever..etc. CT scan showed 1 stone in right many in left kidney. Said they were small enough to pass.. Ok. Here we are 4 months later.. I dont think I have passed anything the severe pain died down but now seems to be returning. Over the past couple days I have this constant ache in my back and gotta go to bathroom feels like all the time.. How long will it take these things to pass and can you pass them and not know?? I think I would know I have heard it really hurts coming out. And yes I drink a ton of water every day.. so much so I feel bloated!!!
