Does anyone of you are required to take antibiotics before each dentist appointment? I have a minor heart murmur, and my physician signed off the release form as it is okay for me to take them. I didn't see her personally at the time (I had no appoitment because she was busy and the receptionist helped me to get the release form filled.

I just saw a cardiologist for the first time and she laughed about the antibiotics. She says that there is no reason for me to take them. She also said that I had nothing and she just dismissed me because according to her, I am too young (I am 26) to have any serious heart condition. I didn't like her too much because she didn't seem to be serious for many reasons. According to her, my blood pressure was fine (she was so fast to check it), although when the nurse checked my blood pressure 10 min ago, it was 110/86.

My dentist insists that I would use antibiotics every single time I come in, although I would rather not do so, it it's unncessary.

today and yesterday i have had moments (like 1 every minute, for about 10 minutes, then it stops for a while) where my stomach hurts kinda bad, then it it gurgles (a sound that you can hear and feel) it starts at my stomach then it lowers down until it feels like i have gas (sometimes i do sometimes i dont). i dont think its food poisoning. but what could it be? and how can i stop it?

I never sleep in a bra.. because it is uncomfortable to me, and because a lot of people said it can stop, affec, or stunt your breasts growth..
My friend's dad is a doctor and she said he told her that sleeping in bra may cause breast cancer?? (i highly doubt that is true)
But, i'm 15 and wear a 34A-36A..
and i really want mine to grow some more so i was just wondering..

I played football last year and a guy landed on my knee. i got up fine but when i ran of the field my knee hurt like crazy. i rested it for a month and it felt good but when i straightened my knee out it hurt again. the only way i can describe it is it fells like my knee is bending backwards but when i see it it isnt even straight. Plz help i need expert advice. Oh and ive been to the doctors and he doesnt know wat it is he just tells me to rest it!

they expect to? - having been led to believe that once you reach a certain decade things start to drop off and go wrong.
A lot of 'oldies' that I know say, when they get an ache or pain, that it must be old age. Well, I don't buy into that. The mind is very powerful and believes whatever you tell it.

i found out i have a small cyst on one of my ovaries and i was wondering will it always make my stomach feel sore/tender or will that pain fade? also can a cyst on the ovary cause any more symptoms apart for the tender pains

Starting Tuesday afternoon I started to feel some pressure in my left ear, by Tuesday night it was clear that my eustachian tube was blocked.

I've had a cold all week so I'm fairly positive this is all it is, and there are no signs of infection (fever, pain, etc). It's now Thursday evening, and it doesn't seem to be clearing up... How long should I expect this to last, or should I be going to a doctor? Thanks in advance

I just had my wisdom tooth pulled and they gave me Vicodin before I had it pulled. I also had a couple of 7.5/325mg Percocet's laying around that I have taken after my tooth was pulled because they were stronger than the Vicodin. (They gave me a Percocet script for the after pain but I still haven't had it filled yet)

I have taken the Percocet's today but now that I am out I want to know if it is ok to take the Vicodin since I am still experiencing pain.

and I mean serious. Ive tried going before but Ive always ran out before they called my name. It seems impossible for me to put myself through it. If we no longer get vaccines for smallpox today for kid's like me who have never got vaccine for it...over 15 million people today haven't got vaccines for smallpox. meaning if this disease was to come back again to around the world.
