Starting Tuesday afternoon I started to feel some pressure in my left ear, by Tuesday night it was clear that my eustachian tube was blocked.

I've had a cold all week so I'm fairly positive this is all it is, and there are no signs of infection (fever, pain, etc). It's now Thursday evening, and it doesn't seem to be clearing up... How long should I expect this to last, or should I be going to a doctor? Thanks in advance

I would recommend going to the doctor. If fluid is trapped in there, it could lead to an infection. It is best to get it treated than to run the risk or to end up with pain.
