GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Being as staunchly anti-abortion as the next I must take issue with this balderdash...My wife of 21 years who never had an abortion, tried for that length of time with me to be blessed with a child and couldn't, died 1/25/2006 at the hands of Inflammatory Breast Cancer. Although not completely understood, breast cancer has not been attributed to the act of abortion...be careful using a devastating illness as a means of furthering a political and moral point of debate.

1. This question is in the wrong category. 2. That would be the RISK of breast cancer, not an increase in breast cancer... 3. Why would you have a baby, and kill one later on in the game? 4. The question was quite rhetorical, so no one can really answer this other than if they do or don't know this fact. 5. The disease is very uncommon in women under age 35 and is most common in women over age 50.

There is no scientific documented evidence that abortion, still birth, or spontaneous miscarriage cause breast cancer.

This is nonsense, just a scaremongering tactic of the anti-abortion lobby.

Whether one is ant-abortion or not is of no relevance in this case - the fact is there is not a scrap of evidence to suggest that abortion leads to cancer of any kind. Your links lead nowhere, what a surprise.

Your post.has no place on this forum; people posting here have very serious concerns - some are terminally ill, some have loved ones including children who are seriously, perhaps terminally, ill; others are terrified at a diagnosis of cancer or concerned that they may have cancer. We do not need to see this kind of rant here.

Excellent post christnp, thank you for those links. Here's another:

Are you serious?

You're not serious, right??

How many unplanned pregnancies have YOU had to deal with, again??

You think people who support women's control of their bodies are "mentally warped"??!!?

LOL, this is why the anti-choice side will always lose, freak.

I dont agree with abortion, but if it is outlawed, how many women will be killed on the black market? Further more, how can you tell someone that they have to have a child that resulted from rape and incest?

I know many people who never had an abortion who had breast cancer. In some cases there is a genetic bent to it. Your links do not go anywhere and neither does your argument. You are implying that all women with breast cancer have had abortions and that is not true.

My late gf had 5 children, AND 5 abortions. She got pregnant 10 times. Yes. But she developed breast cancer 3 TIMES!
The first two times she beat it. The third time because of other complications she passed at age 55.
Some doctors have tried to tell me that there is no correlation between abortion and breast cancer.
I tell them they need to go back to kindergarten. Sorry no offense to anyone but if you are a physician or nurse and disagree, then don't waste time emailing me.

I agree that abortions are wrong. But, I know that they will continue.

Our laws do not protect all unborn babies. Abortions are legal so the baby is doomed if it's mother does not choose to let him/her live. A baby who is wanted by the mother is protected by the law .Look at the court cases of unborn babies being killed when the mother is killed or the pregant mother who is on life support.

We kill selectively and justify our actions.

I really don't expect to convince you, but there is no evidence of correlation between abortion and breast cancer. Or psychologic damage.

If you are against abortion, then you should be adopting unwanted children and promoting birth control.
