like to weigh themselves....some people say it helps them but I say it ruins me!! Like so i just completely decided to sop weighing myself and just try not to gain weight. Cuz when I lose weight, I can see it. I dont need that scale to tell me.! Usually when I lose weight and step on the scale I get HAPPY then it makes me want to eat cuz im lke OOH woow im losing weight I can just eat eat eat now!......And usually i do that and ruin my weight loss streak. So yeah good thing I dont have a scale i was using my sisters but nvmd anymore lol. I'd rather just keep going on with dieting or whatever and just when I look/feel like iv'e lost weight actually my GOAL weight....I will step my a** on the scale.! Its like I weighed myself first then last! Im not doing that inbetween crap! too discouraging.

I know it has something to do with the feel-good hormones in my body. But if they re already there, why I cant feel as good always?

Whom would you call if you wanted psychoanalysis? In the US they have changed in the last 20 years. They only allow 15 mins or less and cannot help you unless you need pills or hospitalization. If you don't need one of their pills (depression, anxiety etc.). They do not talk about the details of the disorder. And all the pills have bad side effects. Why didn't they announce this huge change? I finally figured it out and a little late doing so. In addition, internist and family doctors give the same prescriptions for depression, anxiety and such. What is the need for psychiatrists at all except if they work at mental hospitals. Come to think of it, i think they need a new title. It is very misleading to keep that misleading title. They do not try to exam and treat the psychic. They only serve a good purpose specializing in handling hospitalized patients who are confined in an institution. It seems the only difference in the gp and the "psychiatrist" is the patients they choose to treat

My dad has high blood pressure and was prescribed some medication to lower it. He has to keep taking it for as long as his doctor tells him it's ok to stop but his medication (Tarka) is pretty expensive and sometimes he can't afford it so he just stops taking it. I worry that something might happen to him when he does this. Does anyone know where I can find Tarka for less (he currently pays $72 for a 30 day supply of Tarka 2/240mg) or do you know of a natural way to lower blood pressure?

When he was over at my house last night, he got up to pee, fell on my floor, and then got up and was incoherent and unresponsive, and he peed all over my floor and rug and didn't respond at all. He then laid down on my bed and peed on my bed! When I slapped him and finally got a response, he threatened to kill me or hurt my family if I took him to the hospital. Obviously I kicked him out this morning and will never speak to him again. My question is, how can I mentally try to get over this? I feel extremely defiled and traumatized, I tried to help him, I provoked none of this, I have never been bad to him. I can't get this out of my mind, obviously I have cleaned up the mess already so the physical evidence is gone, but can someone help me to try to get over this? I feel so wrongly victimized. Thanks.

My sister-in-law came to visit us for two months. I never thought, she has so much mental problems. During her 1st month of visit, she was keep saying, she is sick, she can't breath, she is week, she is having all kind of diseases. She made me driving her to the hospitals, walk-in-clinics and blood test labs including x-rays and Ultrasound, nothing came up.

I have severe health issues, and still recovering from some surgeries, but my sister-in-law neither does anything herself nor let me to do anything including household duties. She is just complaining non-stop about her diseases, she thinks, she has poison in her body, if anyone touch her, he/she would die and many things.

She is not willing to see a doctor for her treatment, she is not willing to leave house, she is just wandering around in the house, I have no privacy at all, she is not willing to leave the country (she also has dual nationality of here). She is not able to speak or understand English.
