I suffer from depression and anxiety and recently revealed this to my bf as I am considering taking meds again. We ended up having a long discussion about me being molested as a child and how my molestor was never arrested/confronted. My bf seems to think that this lack of closure has resulted in my having problems with depression and anxiety now.

But I don't know how I should go about getting closure. This happened more than 30 years ago. I've been to counseling and thought my closure was being able to tell my family what happened. I've done that and haven't wanted to re-hash the details with another counselor as it is painful.

I googled the guy in an attempt to at least locate him or see if there was pending criminal action against him but was unsuccessful. Re-visiting the situation has also made me wonder if I could have prevented abuse to someone else. I'm not allowing myself to feel guilty for this as I was only five when the abuse occurred.

Any suggestions?

Hello,

I went to the doctor's office about 6 weeks ago. She told me I have herpes and a ringworm and prescribed me some medicine for each.
4 weeks go by and the area around the 'ringworm' on my arm became red and messed up by using her medication she suggested. I see a dermatologist who says I clearly do not have herpes and it is clearly not a ringworm, but a simple small scar. And that the anti-fungal ringworm medicine is causing irritation all around it.

Shouldn't I get a refund for the doctor being wrong? I paid private pay and paid for the medicine. I called them up and they said their doctors are wrong often and it is OK for them to be wrong, and therefore I should not receive any refund.

Thoughts? Other experiences?

Children ten to make an excuse why they are abused but they should tell someone. I've seen children abuse they're parents hitting they're own siblings on The Murry Show and Dr. Phill. Teens today beat there own family and rob from them.

I just asked for some feedback on helping a person close to me in regards to how to approach her on the subject. With the replies that I have been given, I wonder now, why it is entirely up to the person to help themselves...the help is needed in other areas. What areas would you consider to be helpful?

Ok, i broke my wrist during rugball. When I went to the

emergency room yesterday, the doc said i may or may not

need surgery due to the fact that the bone broken is near the

growth plate. I'm scared that if I get surgery, i won't wake up.

Anyone know the percentages of this happening? Also, any

good pain medication? I am typing with one hand.
