It regulates the heat in your body. Your body/skin has to be able to breath. If you can not sweat, you would die.
Not to bore you too much, but the first lady who played a main part in gold finger ( James bond) died because they covered her in gold paint to play the part and didn't leave any gaps for her skin to breath. If they had left a small area perhaps at the base of her spine or under her arms, she would not have died.

when u r hot sweat comes out of the sweat gland and is ment to make you cooler

If you did not sweat your body would overheat like a car radiator.Its your bodies way of cooling down and releasing toxins through your skin.

When it works properly, it's your body's air conditioner. The evaporation of the moisture is supposed to cool you.
