Went to the opticians a cuple of days ago, and he said that i could have glasses if i want. And was quite vague. I spend a long time on the computer (student). And my eyes get realy tired and worse. Was just wondering if any1 has any idea what i should do. I always have issues when wearing sunglasses as a always fiddle with them take them off, sit on them. I would like to try contacts to be honest but i dont realy no if there a option, dont realy no much about this. Thanks!!!

P.S the perscription he gave me sez :
R SPH: 0.00 Near-ADD: +0.50
L SPH: -0.25 Near-ADD: +0.50
The rest of the boxes are empty.

The distance part of your perscription is so wimpy its hardly worth the money. Since your near perscription is the same for both eyes, and there's no astigmatism; why don't you try getting a pair of the drug store reading glasses in + 0.50 and only wear them for close work. Since you say your hard on glasses it would be a lot less money down the drain if you sit on them again! If the "cheap reading glasses" route doesn't work out for you, you can always get the perscription filled and you'll only have wasted a few dollars with your experiment.

well, thats a MINIMAL rx.

the "add" portion is meant to make your computer use easier. so if your symptoms at the computer are REALLY bothering you, then yeah get it filled. if not, then dont.
