like to weigh themselves....some people say it helps them but I say it ruins me!! Like so i just completely decided to sop weighing myself and just try not to gain weight. Cuz when I lose weight, I can see it. I dont need that scale to tell me.! Usually when I lose weight and step on the scale I get HAPPY then it makes me want to eat cuz im lke OOH woow im losing weight I can just eat eat eat now!......And usually i do that and ruin my weight loss streak. So yeah good thing I dont have a scale i was using my sisters but nvmd anymore lol. I'd rather just keep going on with dieting or whatever and just when I look/feel like iv'e lost weight actually my GOAL weight....I will step my a** on the scale.! Its like I weighed myself first then last! Im not doing that inbetween crap! too discouraging.

You are smart. I remember learning something that really stuck with me: LISTEN TO YOUR BODY. That is what you are doing. You don't need the scale to know if you're gaining or losing weight.

Too many people are addicted to the scale. They weigh themselves up to 10 times a day! At least if you ARE going to weigh yourself, do it correctly! Once a day. First thing in the morning, after you go to the bathroom, before eating or drinking anything, naked. That is your true weight.

But try going without the scale. (Have someone hide it!) As the questioner said, you really don't need it to know how you're doing. Just listen to your body. Great question desrves a star! :)
