I've suffered from anxiety. My common symptoms are shortness of breath - unable to take a deep breath, my heart races and I feel faint. It's basically a surge of adrenaline running through an otherwise calm body. I always feel the need to pace because, for some reason, I feel worse if I try to sit still. Symptoms vary from person to person but they can be controlled by understanding that it's a mind trick.

Oh, sweet anxiety.... Well, there are a lot of symptoms. Personally, I get rapid heart beats, cold sweats, shaky hands and upset stomach. I also have hypoglycemia, so when I start to feel anxious, I eat some protein first.

The most troublesome of my symptoms is a sick feeling I get in my stomach. It's almost like the feeling you get when you feel really guilty about something... it's a feeling of sadness or helplessness. It's pretty much awful. I can't eat, can't sleep, can't articulate my feelings.

The following link is a good resource. It's informative without trying to sell you some drug.

I don't have anxiety any more, but when I was younger I had very bad axiety attacks. I would start getting paranoid kind of (that is th only word I can think to explain it). I would start to hyperventilate and then sometimes black out it ould be so bad. But mostly i would get very paranoid that somethng was going to happen. If you think you have anxiety you should see a doctor, they will give you medicine to help it. That is what I did and I haven't felt it in a long while. I hope you feel better.

Same as above, but I also get real bad chest pains. At first I used to think I was having a heart attack, until I found out I was having anxiety attacks.

I get anxiety pretty bad sometimes. I get all nervous and my hands start to shake. If its really bad I lose my breathe from being so nervous. Its hard to not control it sometimes, sometimes it just happens. But I've been ok lately, try not to let myself worry about stuff too much. Hope this helped.

Not being able to breath. Feelings of being in danger. Rocking back and forth. Sweating. Uncontrollable crying. Heart feels like it's going to stop.
