I have been using Afrin for about 6 months now and realize that I am using more and more and a lot more frequently. Anybody kick this addiction before? If so, how'd you do it?

After surgery, is it normal to have high doses of Radiation for the head and Neck, if Cancer is on the tongue? Also, is 5 days a week, for 20 minutes each session of radiation for 7 weeks total a lot ? How many ppl get long term side effects, such as loss of Saliva glands or infections?

In May 2007 I was diagnosed with contact dermatitis and I was perscribed "Doxycycl" by my doctor. After taking the drug for two months I developed a severe allergy to it which resulted in having itchy red splotches on my chest. I stopped taking the drug, but I still suffer from a reddish brown rash on my face, which the drug never cleared up.

My skin is dry, yet it becomes oily overnight while I sleep. It is not thick, nor is it itchy. I have researched several dermatitis conditions on-line, yet what I have does not seem to match anything that I am reading. I have tried several at home treatments, tea tree oil, anti-fungal cream, etc. These have helped a little but not very much. I have tried to moisturize it, as I know that this is supposed to be an important step, but every lotion I use causes it to burn and become even more red.

Based on what I have read I do not even know if I really have dermatitis. Can anyone help?

Lump is hard and feels like bone. It is under the skin on the outside of my right foot. Closer to ankle than to toes. Have pain in that foot and it is hard to walk up stairs by the end of the day. Had a bone chip that had calcium build up on it in my ankle joint - think this might be it and that it has moved?

i broke my finger playing basketball and it healed broken ( i thought it was jammed only ). you can't really tell but when u compare pinky fingers u can tell one's defintely broken because its crookked in a way. can i go to a doctor to make it normal again?

ok woohoo lol so thrilled I am getting them removed...LOL not really...the guy said it was gonna be easy. I am getting put out then they stitch it with one stitch. Once I get home take out the gauze eat a milkshake or pudding then take my drugs and go to sleep. Is it really seem that easy...I am kinda nervous because like well I have had surgery but still my mom picked the date and I just went to him today! So she picked it a little quick any tips and help?

There are 12 people in my office and 10 of them are overweight, 4 of them are obese. Its not like they have a thyroid disease, they pride themselves in their large weight and think they look good. But they always have the AC on so low because they are always hot. Im freezing! They always choose the food we eat when we have pot luck or have food brought in, and I dont like to eat pizza every time.

They take jabs at me for eating healthy, running for fun, going to the gym in the morning. Not that it bothers me, I just find that part odd, maybe they are jealous?

I never make fun of them or suggest they lose weight, its there life. But how do I suggest a healthier meal or suggest a higher temperature (anything over 70 would be ideal for me) during the day? I know they will complain, its almost not worth it.

If I were to talk to my mom about this, she would probably laugh and ignore me, but it's starting to bother me. I often find myself spelling words that people say with my finger, I constantly erase and rewrite things because I don't like how it looked or how I held my pencil. If I'm talking, and I don't use a 'g' sound in what I'm saying, I'll feel weird until I say a word with G in it. I'm always looking at things over and over again to make sure I'm not missing anything. I have all kinds of odd little things that I do. It's not a really strong feeling, but sometimes I have something similar to an anxiety attack over something as simple as whether I'm supposed to push the door or pull it. I'm not sure if this is something I should talk to my doctor about or just let it go.

I know it sounds bad, but I was diagnosed when I had a doctor and I was on Adderral. But my 'rents couldn't afford the specialist anymore and so now I don't see anyone. It's really hard for me to concentrate and I am freaking out because I have huge tests coming up. Please help?

I have been told that I have panic attacks. I also have an aunt that has seizures. Her symptoms are like mine some but I'm not as bad. I don't know if what I'm having are panic attacks or mini seizures. I'm 30 years old and have 2 boys. They didn't start till after my 2nd son and I had an epidural. I don't know if that helps, but it's a start. It happens mainly when I'm driving. Can someone that suffers panic attacks please tell me what their symptoms are and how you control them.

In the middle of last night, I woke up and felt like I was outside of my body.
I laid flat on my back and could hear this humming noise.
I also could hear my breathing and see my shoulder as if I was slightly behind me...
I wasn't scare at all.
As a matter of fact...it felt amazing.

I wasn't dreaming...
I had deliberate conscious thoughts.
But I did not have good control over my state.
It reminded me of those pictures that you look at crossed-eyed to see the hidden image.
In other words, I could hold this state for so long...my natural incline was to let it go...

Does this make sense to anyone?
What was this?
Was I hypnotizing myself?
In any event, I made some very positive suggestions to myself while in this state :-)

so people have been telling me I have anger issues and that im too aggressive (including my own mom). This has been such a huge issue in my waking life that it's even bothering me in my sleep! I had two horrible dreams last night, one being that I found out that parts of my car were stolen by a group of punk kids so i found them and began yelling at them and threatening them and got into a very physical fight with one of them (he was like a 15 yr old boy)! my other dream was that my ex and i had a screaming match, but i woke up during that one. I woke up feeling angry and nervous. I think it's more than just anger issues. does anyone have any advice for me?

I'm 20 years old. Live in a suburb outside of a small town. I don't have any friends. I don't have a job. I don't go to school.. My boyfriend is 2000 miles away.It's a very committed relationship but we've never met because we met online. I don't have any connection with my family on a personal level. I don't think they understand me at all or any body else for that matter.
I'm painfully;morbidly shy, so I'm always to afraid to tell anyone anything about my life, or go to a doctor because I don't have insurance, and once again I'd be terrified out of my mind.
I cry about everything, very passive aggressive towards everyone, except for strangers who I am extremely quiet and uncomfortable around.
I have a terrible image of myself, despite being very overweight. I have tried to do things to myself when I was younger (the bad thing if you know what I mean)
I feel nervous even when I'm alone with my thoughts.

I have had my new glasses about 2weeks now, and have never worn glasses previously. I am still struggling to get used to them, i can wear them for a whole day now, but my eyes hurt, and i still get the occasional headache. My prescription is
Left -3.5, -0.75, 165
Right -2.25, -1.5, 120

Should i wear them all the time, like distance and computer and reading?
