Are you asking it it's realistic to not eat sweets and junk? I'm going to assume that that's what you're trying to ask.

Of course it's realistic. There are quite a lot of people who don't eat sweets and/or junk at all. Sure they have a 'treat' once in a while to reward themselves, but everyone can live without a certain type of 'food'.

People who don't find it realistic to 'quit' sweets and junk have been living off sweets and junk for too long.

Yep! I did it back in 2001. I still have my days when I just need something sweet. But the fast food gave it up for should I dare say it. Healthy food...lol...and I am thinner and feeling better for it. Truthful I miss my Kung Po Beef and Ice Cream late at night lol....

Yes, it's realistic. It's not morphine, it's just junk food.

Yep, I did it starting a year ago and have lost almost 30 lbs. And I was a hardcore sugar addict. I still let myself have sugar every once in a while so I don't binge. You don't have to cut it out altogether, just moderate your intake.

Yes it is, but you have to have A LOT of will power. I've done it before and it's very hard...but it can be done if you really want to.
