I've just found out that my dad found a lump and has been having all sorts of tests for prostate (prostrate?) cancer over the past month. The first set of results came back inconclusive but on Wednesday he was told he was all clear. I found out a few hours ago, it was kept from me because I suffer from extreme anxiety and I have just started a new University course so my parents didn't want me to worry. Why do I feel so worried, as if he actually does have cancer?

My vision is pretty good, but lately, my cheeks have become bloated and my eyes water from time to time, and my vision gets blurry because of the seasonal change from summer to fall...am I right about this? I did this from winter to spring and then went away, and now it's doing it again from summer to fall...any ideas?

I went to VEGAS and forgot my pills.. i forgot friday, saturday, and sunday. But thank god my bf & I didnt have SEX! On Sunday morning I started bleeding :( I took all 3 pills when I came back from my trip on Sunday. Its been 7 days and still spotting!! WHY?? Is it normal?? Do you think I might be prego?? HELP!

I fell down a flight of wooden stairs, not once but twice. After the 2nd fall I call the landlord and told her she needs to get a handrail in here for me. She had one installed that week. That was 18 months ago. The problem, I did not seek medical treatment figuring a sore tailbone heals within 6 mos. to a year depending on injury. It is very sore to this day. I feel like I need a walker to get out of my car. I was even told I walk funny! So the thing is, if I go get x-rays and it turns out to be something serious, would the landlord be partically responsible for any medical treatment or has too much time elapsed?

Okay well if you met me i'm really outgoing, loud, i have lots of friends. I do acting, dancing, gymnastics. If u met me, you would probably think i'm that happiest, bubbliest person ever. But inside i don't feel confident at all. Everytime i go out, i always say or do something that i wish i hadn't. Just little things like incase i've offended someone in some way, or come across as a horrible person. I do this every single day in life and then at night times i can't sleep because i can't stop thinking that i've ruined my life or scared that people are talking about me or that they don't like me. Sometimes i'm physically sick and i cry just thinking about it. I know this sounds totally crazy but does anyone have any advice on what this might be?

Hi,
Does this sound like vertigo? Okay, its sort of a pulsing throb in my ears, eyes, head, and sometimes into my chest and arms. It doesn't hurt. Its sometimes a dizzy feeling. My mom and grandma have vertigo, but its really a hard thing to describe. Like I said, its a pulsing sort of feeling, when I move around, move my eyes in quick movements, loud noises, or sudden movements around me. Is this vertigo? I also have ringing in my ears a lot, I don't know if that has anything to do with it. But its weird, sometimes I'll get vertigo before my period starts. What do you think?

How to get motivated to do things with my life?
I've been wasting time for the last 5 years of my life in junior/Senior high school. My grades have been pretty mediocre throughout and maybe above average, at times in junior high. But I really have no idea what I want to do. I know I can get into a lot of colleges, not ivy league, but right at this moment when I should be applying I'm wasting my time. My parents are setting me up with a doctor because I've been depressed my high school year for being teased, not fitting in, and things similiar to this. I still want to do as well as other people my age though and it's kind of fustrating how bad I'm failing at it. I'm 17 going on 18 this year and still: never driven/don't have my permit, never had a job, didn't join any clubs in school, didn't do any sports( not too fond of them). I do have to go through a lot more than most people though: I'm a gay, black male with a bad case of social anxiety and maybe even selective autism, but still none of those things should stop me from living.

for the last several months i have been feeling down - almost depressed . i would cry for no reason, it really gets to me, i get mad at everyone and then break down and cry.
like today for instance i was really happy - hyper happy, and a couple of minutes later i felt really down! this is always happening please help i dont know what to do!! i am 16year old female by the way and i dont think its just my hormones
i also get horrible dreams, i have had four in the past 3 months.

I have had hayfever for 2 weeks and the antihistamines are getting rid of the symtoms yet my nose is still kinda out of shape. Does anyone else have the same problem and what can I do? How long will it be before it's back to normal? My nose is red raw inside in one nostril.
