unfortunately there are no warning signs of an aneurysm ( i figured out what you meant :-) ) . this is a very tragic event that comes on suddenly, often times without warning. if there is warning, it may be a sudden intense severe headache, but very little can be done to stop it sadly.

A brain aneurysm is a weak spot in the arterial wall. Doctors often explain it as similar to a balloon. The artery can swell out a bit and if it gets stretched too much it can burst and cause bleeding in the brain. The best way to prevent this is controlling your blood pressure and making sure you see a doctor regularly. If you have a family history of this the doctor can order an MRI of your brain and look for these.

My younger sister almost died of this a year ago and had surgery to repair them. She had more than one. She is doing fine after the surgery, but it was a very scary time for us. She was very young to have this problem. Now eveyone in my family has to have our heads examined.

aneurysm...you can get one in your chest, too. it can be caused by injury or high blood pressure. eat right so your blood pressure remains normal. there are warning signals, but sometimes there's no warning and nothing that can be done.
