hey.. i know how you are feeling.. i had mine pulled last wednesday.. i only had one removed but i didn't go under!! the whole procedur wasn't that bad.. they give you heaps of drugs so you shouldn't be in too much pain.. it will hurt a little bit after the drugs wear off but keep taking the pain killers till you don't need then anymore.. not trying to scare you off or anything but it is 6 days later and i have only just started eating solids again.. (but people are different).. i was getting a little freaked out on the sat as the swelling hadn't gone down much at all.. but now it is almost been a week.. and i can almost talk properly (without a lisp).. the pain from havnig it down only last a couple of days.. but i have a job that requires me to talk a lot.. and this is what hurts.. talking too much!! so the tips are... drink heaps of water.. don't talk much.. and get heaps of rest.. the more you rest your mouth the less pain you will be in!! trust me on that one!! hehe.. and keep icing it on and off for about 4 days.. as the ice heaps the pain a little as well as helps the swelling..
good luck!!! and remember dnon't talk too much!!

When I had mine out it was uncomfortable but not that bad. They knocked me out, I woke up very happy with a bunch of gauze in my mouth. I ate some yogurt, took some drugs and slept, then the next day I just took some Advil and I felt ok. I was swollen and my jaw was sore. If I didn't take any Advil it really throbbed. Worse than the pain is the gross taste of blood in your mouth. You can't suck on a straw the first few days either.

i got mine taken out a few months ago the most painful part to me was the needle in my vain lol i'm not good with needles but other than that if you have a good surgeon you shouldnt have any problems i had a very good surgeon and i had no swelling or pain and i was eating normally again in like a week but at first it hurts to laugh because of the stitches. and make sure you get the holes clean every night or you'll get an infection.

i had the same thing. i was put out with stitches. it really wasn't that bad. they give you drugs for pain. make sure you keep ice on your cheeks so they don't swell and bruise. the worst thing, i think, was having to eat pudding, jello, soup and milkshakes for a couple days. then i could only chew on my front teeth for a couple weeks. it was a pain in the *ss. but the procedure was fine and the pain was completely manageable.

Ok,
I got mine pulled 2 weeks ago. Everyone one told me the same thing, But it was way worst then i expected it.
I thought i could have milkshake but i couldnt even open my mouth enough and u CANNOT use a straw. I couldnt sleep at night cuz of the pain, my medication made me halluscinate
and i was hungry for 2 days. i got deppressed cuz i couldnt even speak and i love to talk. It sucked, it hurt! but make sure u have a lot of magazines and shows to watch and that the medication they give u is GOOD!
gosh remembering the pain is making me wanna cry.
