I'm fifteen and for about a month I have an odd sensation in my left hand pinky that I can only describe as numbness. It's almost as if my hand fell asleep, that kind of tingling feeling, but it won't go away. I'm right handed, by the way.

My mom had Carpal Tunnel surgery about a year ago. She was in her early forties, and has a history of severe arthritis since childhood (if that's important at all). For about two years before surgery she complained of numbness and tingling in her hand. Later on it turned to burning and shooting pains. It affected her forefinger, middle finger and ring finger. She never specifically mentioned her pinky.

I play several instruments, type stories on my computer sometimes for hours on end, embroider only with my left hand, and I'm afraid it might be something like carpal tunnel. My mom had surgery, and the sensations are gone but she cannot sew anymore and complains that her hand is weaker than it was.

Does it sound like Carpal Tunnel? What can I do?

What harm can it do? I can't work it out. I thought it was just a bit of warm water being flushed in your ear canal....so what's the problem because it drives me mad when they refuse!

ive been cutting for 4 years nd i have no intention of stopping...it keeps me on track nd keeps my mind of of suicide. do i really need to stop?? my councellor thinks i have depression, but im like into hiding how i feel. i act veree happy around my mates nd my mum doesnt exactly need to deal with my problems, she has plenty of her own..has anyone else ever had this kind of thing?? i cant see wat is wrong with harming myself along as i dont harm anyone else...

So my workout routine goes something like this:

Monday: Boxing and Dance aerobics (40 minutes)
Tuesday: Strength training (lower body/core stability - 40 minutes)
Wednesday: Circuit Training (40 minutes)
Thursday: Strength training/core stability (upper body - 40 minutes)
Friday: Yogalates (Yoga/Pilates - 1 hour)
Saturday: 5 mile run
Sunday: Rest Day

Any suggestions for changes, am I missing anything, is this enough?

I know it sounds like a stupid question but i'm curious. I know how when you smoke it, it enters your lungs, and gets in your blood and blah blah blah. But can eating it do the same thing? Will it come up in the hair, saliva, or UA tests?

I started getting symptoms yesterday but didn't realize what it was until today. I started taking AZO today but it says I can't take it for more than 2 days. The soonest I can see a doctor is Tuesday because they're closed tomorrow (Sunday) and Monday is Labor day. So what do I do until then!?

Can UTI's just disappear on their own? I remember having one a few years ago and I didn't treat it, but it went away after a week. It might have been something different though.

I have had appendicitis but I now have a lower right pain in what seems to be around the same place the appendix was. It is almost as painful as the appendicitis was. The pain most of the time is nagging but can be quite sharp. Sometimes it is even on my left side. I had my appendix out about a month and a week ago. I have also not done a poo in about 2 days - not because I am constipated, I just dont need too.
Also I have noticed that my vaginal discharge is a lot and it is smelly. What is this?? Do I need urgent medical attention??

Am I the only person that suffers with twitching as I am dropping off to sleep??? Its really starting to get me down now because just as I am starting to fall asleep a part of my body twitches like a mini electric shock and im wide awake agan.

As the stoma leaks all the time, and you have to remove all the glue before you can attatch the new one. Just can't find a good way to do this.
