As the stoma leaks all the time, and you have to remove all the glue before you can attatch the new one. Just can't find a good way to do this.

You must have the correct size of collection bag fitted to the Stoma. There may be some shrinkage in the stoma and due to this the leakage is noted. To prevent urine leakage, infection, skin irritation, and odor, the patient should re-measure the stoma and make any necessary adjustments in the size of the flat sponge-like patch that covers and protects it. This should be done during the first few months after the operation (when shrinkage occurs) or whenever gaining or losing weight. Measuring devices and instructions are included in every box of collection pouches.

By the above way you can have the leakage controlled. Please consult your surgeon or Physician to prescribe the correct size. Your problem will be solved -

i dont have a urostomy but i am a nurse and i work with lots of ostomates. you should probly change the type of appliance your using if it leaking. if it is jlust that its hard to get the old glue off, there are products for that, which are very similar to nail polish remover. adhesive remover. have you tried that. also some peple have sucess using babjy oil, but you have to really clean that off or your appliance wont stick. so i hope that helps/
