Why is everyone so keen on circumcision?

I've been answering a lot of questions in the Men's Health section and every time someone asks a foreskin related question the average answer is "Just get circumcised!".

Circumcision, for some, is a religious thing and therefore understandable, but it's not ideal or %100 necessary. Foreskin is a natural protective skin for the penis glands and urethra, why remove it?

Also, every cut made to penis cuts sensitive nerve endings that help make sex pleasurable, why cut them? I am circumcised and for this reason I wish I wasn't

Some people claim that a foreskin is unhygienic. Education of how to clean the foreskin is key when a child is uncircumcised. If we wanted to save our children from hygiene then should we remove the labia from our female children so they don't get infections or remove children's teeth so they don't get cavities?

I hope that next time someone goes to suggest circumcision they take these points into consideration

My wife was rushed to the hospital last night, because she was just sitting there and all of a sudden she was hit with a 103 temperature, and started passing out/throwing up. I've been with her all night, and am home for lunch break now.

She had Pneumonia last week, and just got over it a few days ago.

Now, they are wanting to do a Spinal Tap on her? They want to test her for Menigitis?

Any info about a Spinal Tap and Menigistis is apperciated.

MY dad's doctor is not doing his job, he is suppose to make appointments to see specialists and he will not tell my dad anything, even refuses to see him. It is serious medical conditions that require immediate attention, he is even make the decisions for my dad without consulting him. I have been diagnosed with this by a er md, I do not have insurance and am unemployed at this time.. to see a neuro opthalmologist is not an economic option for me.. we have explored the net for any and all info and have found that the cause needs to be found asap to prevent furhter damage.. we live in the ft worth tx area.. I have called the social services agencies. they want to base my income qualifications on last year.that makes sense doesn't it? so any body got a idea on this?

My husband has this problem and it is REALLY bad. I mean not just itchy, it has him writhing on the bed trying not to scratch. He has tried lotion right out of the shower but it made him itch more. It also happens when he sweats. What could this be? I think its more than just dry skin because of the intensity of it, plus even with the lotion its worse. Anyone else have this problem? What should he do?

Hi, Im young ( i dont want to say my age)
