live culture yoghurt should restore the healthy bacteria in the stomach and acidophillus tablets from a health food store. You can obtain strawberry flavoured ones.

Fresh Basil leaves are said to help flatulence. Perhaps make a salad or put them into food.

This might help

Give her plenty of yogurt with live active cultures or acidophillus capsules every day to help get her digestive flora back in check. In the meantime use beano drops on her food at meals until the yogurt or capsules get her digestive flora healthy again. Also you can change her diet by asking her to take one bite of new food each time you serve something she doesn't normally eat. Keep offering these foods and making her take one bite each time even if it is say just "one small green bean" or "two peas".

changing her diet may be the only option. she obviously needs to eat a few more types of foods. at 5 yrs, you don't really want to resort to medication if it isn't necessary.

Wrong ! You're the parent and it's your duty to tell the child what he / she is going to eat ! They don't tell you. Don't be so weak. Put your foot down, NOW. Or she will walk all over you later.
