so i thought that there might be some thing wrong with my thyroid
so i went to the doctor and he did some tests.
the office called me back about one week later and now wants to see me.
that means that they found some thing right?
and if i do have to take meds what are the side effects or restriction.to being on these pills.

iv heard someone here (on yahho) said that they threw up at school when they were having their period...cause of the cramps or something...can this happen, and why???? thanks so much. would it happen regularly?

Is it possible to c** if I do not have an orgasm? I was having sex with my b4 and i didnt have an orgasm but there was c** on him when we were finished. Usually, he takes care of me before we have sex and the same thing happen. I just wanted to kno if that was normal and if not, then what can it be?

For one thing, I see different colors with each eye. I guess they aren't different colors so much as different shades of the same color.

For instance, if I'm looking at a white wall, and I close my right eye, the wall has a slight bluish gray tint. If I close my left eye and use only my right eye, the white has a slight pinkish tint.

Also, I see weird little black things through my left eye. It's like I have three or four tiny little squiggles. They don't block my vision, and I don't really notice them unless I actually focus on it. But they are permanent, I'm not sure when I first noticed but it's been years. The "squiggles" stay in pretty much the same spot on my eye, too.

I wear glasses, and my left eye is way worse than my right eye. I know I should just ask my eye doctor, but I don't have insurance and I'm afraid of being diagnosed with something terrible.

Please tell me I'm overreacting. :)

My friend claimed she was 15 weeks pregnant ...one day she left school early because she said her stomach was cramping and she said she was bleeding but not a whole lot and it wasnt time for her period. She called me and told me she was at the ER like two hours later and the doctors said she was going through a miscarraige and she said she had been throwng up and stuff. She said the doctor told her to have a natural miscarraige what ever that means. She called me later that night and told me it took her like 3-4 hours to pass the baby and like at 8 she said it finally came out in the toilet she said she didnt want to look at it so she flushed it and she was crying and everything but the thing that got me was that she was at school at next day....could she be lying... is this normal? What are the normal things you go through during a miscarraige? does the doctor jus send you home and just tell you to "do it yourself"? PLEASE HELP!!!

My gums right above my front teeth hurt so much. They feel better if I rub them with something a little abrasive like a toothbrush. But then that makes them bleed and the the feeling doesn't go away. I can't stop feeling how uncomfortable they feel and want to keep rubbing them but can't. Whats wrong with them and how do I make the feeling go away?

Our son, who is becoming heavier refuses to eat veggies and fruit. I leave out fruit and veggies, to snack on, but he turns his nose up at it.
I have a delema though, my 14yr old son, is very skinny. 95lbs and I need to keep high calorie foods around for him. Mind you, not cookies, candy and unhealthy things, yogurt, shakes and things like that.
My 11yr is very active, though the Dr. has not tested his thyroid for any problems. I have seen children that are heavy and all of a sudden shoot up in height and the weight/flab disappears.
Should I be concern? How do I get him interested in healthy foods?

I'm 42 and these are my first glasses. I have problems with my distance vision, astigmatism, and close vision. My doctor said I should wear my glasses all the time. She said I might want progressive lenses but wasn't really sure I needed them. She said I should discuss that with the gal who sells the glasses in the outer office.

I talked about it with the glasses gal and said that I had troubles with my near vision but not terrible (mostly double vision). She said the normal lense would help that. So I got normal glasses for the distance and astigmatism.

Today I got my glasses and everything closer than 5 feet is very blurry. I have to take off my glasses to read the guages on my car, etc. They make my vision much worse. So I can't wear them all the time. I mentioned this to the gal and she said "Well you didn't select the progressive lens". What do I do?

Also when I move my head around with them on everything distorts (expands and contracts) like I'm on acid.

Winter is coming up and that means days with overcast. When its sunny outside I instantly feel slightly more happy inside, but when its cloudy, I feel kinda bummed or just like the day is just blahhhh. What can I do to make myself feel more joyous on these day ahead.

I went to the doctor today because my throat and ear had been hurting...not very badly, but it's been going on for a week, so I thought I should check it out. He looked at my throat, nose, and ears and said they all looked fine and said my breathing sounded fine as well. He said he thought the pain was from a swollen lymph node in my neck (which I didn't even know I had a swollen one). He gave me an antibiotic, but in all honesty, I don't feel sick. The highest my temperature has been in this whole time with the sore throat/ear was 99.0-99.3. When they took my temperature at the doctor's office it was 98.0. I don't believe in taking antibiotics unless they're really necessary (actually feeling sick, fever, etc). Would anyone else take an antibiotic just for a swollen lymph node? I'm just curious...no rude answers please! :)

I want to quit for me. However, my husband smokes and I dont want to expect him to quit. I also find it hard because I can't stay away from smokers, and I love to drink and smoke together, I cant very well stay away from drinking on the weekends either. I need that to wind down on the weekends, My husband is in Iraq and things are Very stressful right now, I picked a bad time to quit, but its a top priority for me right now. Please any advice would be great. I have tried cold turkey and as soon as I eat or go walking, or go kart riding, anything i do on a normal day, I want one so bad, and my friends and family are no help cause they give into my begging. Please help me out here.

I believe that I am a hypochondriac and I am honestly beginning to annoy myself. When I hear about the symptoms of a disease I begin to worry and diagnose myself with out even knowing. I think I may be on the verge of crazy. I think I may have std's, or cancer, or that i may bald in the next few years or I wont live to see my 25 birthday or I wont be able to have kids. How do I break free of this?

I was having sex earlier (my bf was wearing a condom so I know it wasn't him), and a very large amount of clearish liquid just poured out of me, it had the consistency of water almost and a very faint smell that resembled urine. It definetly wasn't urine though, it came from the vaginal hole. I've never had that happen before, or even heard of it happening. Does anyone know what it might be?

Extremely tired, even after full nights sleep
Possibly low fever
Muscle soreness

Sinuses are fine, only nauseated a few times, not to the point of actually throwing up.

Arm? Or get rid of this deadly fear. Last time they tried to inject something i was screaming like hell and im pretty sure the whole hospital could hear me.
