My friend claimed she was 15 weeks pregnant ...one day she left school early because she said her stomach was cramping and she said she was bleeding but not a whole lot and it wasnt time for her period. She called me and told me she was at the ER like two hours later and the doctors said she was going through a miscarraige and she said she had been throwng up and stuff. She said the doctor told her to have a natural miscarraige what ever that means. She called me later that night and told me it took her like 3-4 hours to pass the baby and like at 8 she said it finally came out in the toilet she said she didnt want to look at it so she flushed it and she was crying and everything but the thing that got me was that she was at school at next day....could she be lying... is this normal? What are the normal things you go through during a miscarraige? does the doctor jus send you home and just tell you to "do it yourself"? PLEASE HELP!!!

Something is not right with your friend's story, especially about being released from the hospital & flushing the fetus down the toilet. However, she would be able to return to school the next day, if all went well.
Your friend sounds confused, something clearly isn't right.
I would just support her & I'm sure you'll find out what's going on when she is ready to tell you.

If she were 15 weeks along and went to the hospital, it's unlikely that they would have let her go home before passing the fetus like the person said above for psychologial reasons and also in case there were complications or if the fetus didn't pass completely. Something's not quite right about her story, either she wasn't as far along as she thought or she's lying about the situation like you think she might be. Of course, it might be best just to let the issue go. Whatever happened, it's her business and she'll bring it up if she wants to.

Well, many times you are able to go on regularly about your life. By this i mean its possible she did and was able to go to school. I went to work the day after mine also. but at 15 weeks pregnant i think they would have kept her in the hospital and done tests after the baby came out. you need to talk to her and tell her you are confused. how old is she??

Granted, a person who is your friend should feel comfortable telling you the truth about what is going on in her life.

But is it any of your business if this isn't the truth? It's her life.
