I try eating fruit and granola bars, but I usually end up cooking a large meal because I'm so unbearably hungry. Is something wrong with me maybe?

no your not eating enough before you work out you have to have some calories to burn before you burn calories have dinner, size depending on how much your working out, and if your hungry when you get back just eat protein and maybe an apple if your filling up on carbs after the workout was no good

When are you having dinner? Try filling up on some carrots and yogurt-dip as soon as you get home. And be sure to eat a good dinner with protein around 5 p.m.

Also, consider if your body isn't trying to tell you something? Maybe you need the food? As long as you eat good, healthy stuff, and eat it slowly with lots of chewing, you should be OK, especially with a daily three-hour workout!

i have the same problem :(

but i believe this is all in the mind. u have to control yourself and only you can do this. if you are at the gym till 9 then just dont cook when you return home. have a smoothie and a bar and go off to sleep. do not get to work or do anything.

i start eating small snacks ... cookies, chocolate pcs, fruit and stuff all along and have decided to put a stop to this.

and believe me it is in the mind. this is like smoking you have to put your foot down on yourself.

Cravings for your favorite foods like chocolates and other sugary foods is normal however it is a matter of self discipline. In addition, eating something even if your not hungry is all in the mind, but according to some sources when that desire to eat something come in a very expected way you can eat something spicy.

If you re really wanting to go to the limits.. Htere is this pill where you drink it with water and about 10 mins later the acid in your stomach activates it and The pill expands and you suddenly feel full. Only for when you really shouldn't eat anything but your hungry.

Try eating a big bowl of soup or drinking a lot of water to fill your belly then eat some food after the edge is off.

eat protein and fiber, it'll keep you full longer and helps build muscle
3 hours isn't too long, i usually end up spending that much time too, but i take forever in the locker rooms and shower cause they're so nice
