My gums right above my front teeth hurt so much. They feel better if I rub them with something a little abrasive like a toothbrush. But then that makes them bleed and the the feeling doesn't go away. I can't stop feeling how uncomfortable they feel and want to keep rubbing them but can't. Whats wrong with them and how do I make the feeling go away?

1. go to the dentist
2. brush and floss daily
3. use listerine whitening mouthwash (it has peroxide in it...makes the gums feel good)

you might have ginigivitis or periodontal disease.

When was your last checkup? If you have a lot of calculus (tartar) under the gums, that can cause tenderness.

If you are clenching your teeth you can make the tissue or the teeth uncomfortable.

Keep 'em brushed and flossed. If they don't improve in 4-5 days, make an appointment.

You might want to see a dentist, if it keeps hurting, it could be a bad cavity. But while you are waiting for your appointment, some pharmacys have clove oil, that can take away the pain for a little while. Anyone can buy it, sometimes it's on the shelf, but sometimes they keep it behind the counter. I never used it, I know people who did use it, and it seemed to work really well. But you still should see a dentist.

I would go to the dentist and get a good cleaning. It sounds like you have tartar built up there and it won't go away by itself.
