Antioxidants give fruits and vegetables the bright colors
Fruits:
Blueberries, Blackberries, Cranberries, Strawberries, Raspberries, Plums
Vegetables:
Avocados, Oranges, Red grapes, Cherries, Red apples, Kale, Spinach, Brussels sprouts, Alfalfa sprouts, Broccoli, Beets, Red Bell peppers, Onions and Swiss Chard

There are other foods that rank high in Antioxidant content as well, such as black tea, green tea, chocolate, and even red wine. Among juices, Welch's red grape juice, was the highest rated Antioxidant juice at Tufts labs. One researcher was also shocked at the impact fresh blueberries had on brain function improvement as well.

Warnings:
the most destructive source of Omega-6 fats are found in salad dressings. These are the Omega-6 oils to avoid: corn oil, regular safflower oil, and regular sunflower seed oil.

Avoid foods, such as margarines, and salad dressing made with these oils. Replace these oils with olive oil or canola oil which include Omega-3 oils in their composition. Olive oil is especially recognized as a memory booster.

Fish is supposed to be great. Im not sure of how solid that study really is. I think it stems down to what you do with your brain and how you exercise it. Keep the mind sharp with reading, and even memory games. Heredity plays a huge part of whether you will have your memory and not get alzheimers. Keep your mind active, as well as your body. Keep it moving. Noone, can predict if they will fall into the category of senile or alzheimers. Enjoy your brains functions now and keep it sharp. Many great minds have been lost to alzheimers. Why? Noone knows that answer yet, but lets hope they keep on working on helping with the solution.

I've read an article and the suggestions to enhance your memory were to do things that you would't do normally, for example, changing routines, driving back home taking other ways, playing sudoku, challenging your mind, reading out loud....
