My boy has asthma, his lung capacity is 26 % and his meds were recently uped due to them being so poor. ( he was at 34 %)
It is 94 here and feels like 105. His friend just called and again like 2 days ago, asked if he could go outside to play.
I was told to NOT have him out on days like today because it could cause him trouble breathing.
The NEWS even says, "Any persons with heart, breathing problems, the old & the young, those who are pregnant...should stay inside out of the heat."
Doesn't his parents watch the news? I have told these people before that my boy has severe asthma!
It is only common sense ...right?
So, what is your take on allowing an asthmatic 9 yr old out to play in the heat?
Yes, or HECK NO!
BTW- for the rest of the week they are calling for it to be between 94 and 100 and it will feel like 105- 115.
Thanks in advance!
