Lotrimin spray !! Nothing else works as well. Make sure you spread the toes to get it all over. Trust me on this....(It works for jock itch too.) Be sure he disinfects the shower with bleach. I'd either wash or get rid of his shoes as well. Make sure he dries between his toes after showering, too.

...I have the "cure" (this is a "no joke" cure...it works every time...but it's quite exciting)... here goes... get a big pan, a pan big enough for "him" to put both feet in... fill the pan with warm water, cover his feet with the water... let his feet soak for about 15 min... now here comes the cure... add about a 1/2 gal of Bleach in the water... have him "wiggle" his toe's and make sure the Bleach get in everywhere... by now, he's screaming from the pain...but it's only temporary... keep it up till he's ready to jump off the bridge... then have him wash his feet off with the garden hose... Athletes foot...GONE...
Experience....unforgettable... (repeat as needed)...spray out his shoes with Lysol and power them up.

A pumice stone and talc powder in his shoes. Maybe you can also tell him to change his socks during the day while he is at work or what not.

You can find athletes foot medication at most pharmacy. Lotrimin, is one....
