I have two jobs. both require standing all day so I'm on my feet for like 16 hours a day. By the end of the night my feet are screaming in pain. lol.

Anywho, can anybody recommend any comfortable shoes that would make my day less painful? I have those dr. scholls shoes but they hurt more than gym shoes.

My aunt and cousin have been telling me how much a phycologist can help with your problems like when your talking you can just let it all out, and afterward you feel good about it. I kindof want to see one, all the stuff that has been building up lately it sounds nice. But my mother is so against it. I can already picture her saying "they wont help you, there too expencive" but our insurance will cover it (im pretty sure) and please tell me if you think that it is wierd to see one because I want to but im just not sure?

The thing I am worried about is I have some extra fat not a lot, but I do have some. So if i began taking these supplements or shakes will I gain fat that i dont need. Or sould I loss the little extra fat i have and then began taking them.

I work out 5-6 days a week, i have a day for cardio and i do cardio 5 min before i lift weights, i workout 2-3 hours

I've had adult acne for over 5 years and came off the the pill around 2.5 years ago. My acne has never improved and have noticed a considerable amount of facial hair in the last 8 months. I saw a hormone specialist who told me I have low preogesterone and gave me a course of hormone cream which I absorbed thru the skin which I did for 5 weeks. I started to get my periods every 2 weeks. My doctor then advised that I should insert the cream thru the vagina as its more effective this way. After another 6 weeks of this I was still having periods every 2 weeks so she then prescribed me progesterone lozeneges. After 1 month of this still having periods for 2 weeks, acne getting worse and facial hair not disappearing I have given up and gone back on the pill to stop my period for a while and have break from acne. I still have breakouts but not as severe but facial hair has become worse. I would like to start a family next year and wondering If anyone can help me further. I don't have PCOS.

Parkinsons, Alzheimers, diabetes, kidney failure, liver failure... seems like some people go to hospital so often. I mean did we have all these problems in the past ? Maybe in the past people just died if they had any sickness, but today due to advances in medicine, people live longer even though they have some sickness... what do you think ?

My son called with some bad news--- His doctor told him he has acute kidney failure-- his kidneys are only working at 10%. This happened suddenly without no pacific warning. My question is---- Will you guys pray for him? His name is Rob and he lives in Texas and I live 1800 miles away and cant afford to fly out there right now. He has a wife and two young boys. She has three slightly buling discs in her lumbar region. They caused some pain last year, but nothing too long term or horrible. At that time, there was no need for surgery.

A few weeks ago, er back acted up and has gotten progressively worse, with severe pain no matter what. Our insurance turned down a referral to an accupuncturist, and she can't get to see a spine specialist until Aug. 10. What can i do to help her be more comfortable? This is killing me because I can't think of anything to do for her!

okay soo people might have read my last question. but whatever. my leg is still pulled, this friday it will be 4 weeks since i pulled it. i need to be able to dance on saturday and sunday! and helpful hints?

by the way, i got this hot/cold stick. it does that but it doesn't really work at all.

the dr. seemed like it was no big deal gave me the antibiotics, pain meds. and said to keep the would clean and change it 3 times daily which im doin i also squirt a few cc's of peroxide and alcohol in the hole then apply neosporin with a gauze bandage, but is this all you have to do , i mean you dont have to dig out the white dead flesh or does it come out on its own, this is my first bite, im on the antibiotics and keeping it clean please telll me if i need to do more, and i would rather do it than the money hungery doctors of our time, thank you

I don't know if i pulled a muscle. I didn't do anything to make my back hurt this much. My whole lower back is killing me. It hurts so much the pain is going up to my shoulders and into my neck area. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow, but what can I do in the mean time? I won't be able to sleep tonight. I took motrin earlier today and that didn't help what-so-ever. I also take prescribed Ultracet (a pain killer) which I take for my knees, I took that also and that didn't help either. I don't have any problems with urinating so I know its nothing to do with my kidneys. Ice isn't working and neither is heat. Does anyone have any suggestions to take the pain away at least for the night so I could sleep? I got work tomorrow.

Hi, I am an 18 year old asian female who has a grandmother with glaucoma. Just recently (April) I had a "Red eye infection", and went to the optometrist right away. They said that my intraocular pressure was way higher than normal and gave me some drops. When I looked up the side effects for red eye I found out that glaucoma can be the cause of it. Am I too young to have glaucoma? Plus, can I get LASIK done when Im older? I have really bad nearsightedness and have bad astigmatism to top it off, and possibly glaucoma (I will see a glaucoma specialist in september). Will I end up going blind?

A friend described an odd experience from high school (her 9 th grade year) recently. She said she had bent down during a class to pick up a pencil commenced to sit up straight again, and placed the pencil on the desk. At that moment she said she felt a sharp pain (like the prick from a (needle) shot) she said she froze and didn't actually get to let go of the pencil. She said that that pain was followed by a feeling of ice cold liquid flowing into her heart (as if from a needle injuction) from the place the sharp pain was. she said the ice cold liquid spread and made the area and the tissue near it go numb (like novicane... when you have a shot at the dentist), she said she was so scared she couldn't speak or move.... then her heart started beating slower and slower. She says it was beating so slowly it hurt and she was afraid it was going to stop. after a few long seconds it picked up pace, the numbness vanished and she could move agian. What kinda pain is that and what caused it?

So I get a call from one of my buddies and he tells me that him and a bunch of my other friends are coming in town for my friend's birthday party and they want me to come. So I'm like "Ok, this is going to be awesome. I get to dress up nice, smell good, get my drink on, maybe meet a few new people. This is going to be awesome." But for some reason, and this always happens, I am thinking of excuses to get out of it. And I don't know what it is, but I know what I am thinking of is stupid and I should just go.

I don't know why, but I get these feelings of something bad happening. I know my night won't be perfect, but I get freaked out that SOMETHING is going to happen, and it could be anything. I know that if I just go and do it, I will have a blast. But like I said, I am already thinking up of excuses not to go. Any advice on how I can calm down about this?

tearing. They hurt like someone has beat them with a paddle or something. Now my ankles are swelling too. If I sit for a while then get up,, I can hardly walk! Should I be asking about surgery to fix this? We are going on a trip where we'll be walking alot, in late September.

I'm trying to understand two things. First of all, how come some people do pushups halfway down to the ground, and others go all the way to their chest. Second, if I do pushups i get very hot after my first few and I just have to stop from all the blood rushing to my head, but I know I can do many more since I am not feeling anything in my arms and I can tell I am capable of doing more, heLP!@!PL!P!LP! thanks
