I've used two different brands.
The Kinotakara brand worked really well. One time a bright red and a bright green spot appeared. They looked like the color of M&M's. After that my craving for chocolate went away for a long time. I wasn't grossed out by the color so it wasn't aversion. I also felt better.
The downside is that they cost about $3-4 a pad.
But they do work. If a person has a serious health problem, they'd be worth it.
The other brand Verseo had no effect despite using them for well over a month. Wasted money in my experience.
Good luck and be well.

I actually tried detox foot patches for ten days as I only bought the ten pack. My conclusion is that only a little detox happened. You would have to use them every night for several months to get any substantial results. Or use them in combination with other detox methods. Here's a good site:

Good question. Reflexology and modern medicine does educate us on everything comes out from our feet, hands and head. Just like you can take down a fever by placing a slice of onion on your foot, which works by the way.
Detoxing the body is really an all out process, be it inside or outside, in order to truly detoxify.
Inside can be done with dandelion's or garlic or both. Outside can be done with french green clay or Kaolin clay.
Also, detoxifying the body should be done if your system is running sluggish; meaning, indigestion all the time, constipation all the time, frequent headaches (not sinus related), constantly tired, or easily catch virus or sickly constantly. By knowing the answers to these questions, you can decide, but just detoxifying through the feet would not be a thorough process and therefore you wouldn't see the results that you would if you were to select something that can give the entire system cleansing and support.
The lymphatic (lympnods-neck, thighs, arm pits), endocrine (kidneys, bladder, pancreas, etc.) and blood (liver, heart, arteries).
Be careful your method, select a tea for example. It's gentle and gives the system support by using herbs that replace minerals and vitamins too. If you are interested in a gentle, safe and short-term tea, email me.

has anyone tried to determine the chemicals in the "salt d tox) patches? many chemicals change colors when combined with each other and/or with skin and sweat.

I used them for 10 days and am pretty sure I needed to do more. the color never got lighter.
I did have more energy during the day.
One thing is you need to wear socks which can be hard in this heat. I won't do it again until the weather cools.

No, it is simply a color change chemical reaction. You are then led to believe stuff is exiting through your skin. There is no truth to this whatsoever.
