Ok, so I have been on ortho evra (birth control patch) for about 9 months now. Since my first round of patches, when my cycle comes around, I have been able to pinpoint the day that it will show it's ugly little face give or take a day. I am now 5 days after what would have been +1 day and still no crimson tide. What do you think, should I do a hpt? Preggo? My husband has been wanting to ttc. We haven't been trying, but would definately welcome a wee one. Our second wedding anniversary is Monday and I know that a positive hpt would be the best gift ever....So, Ladies...What do you think?

drunk when i was on oxy contin and i passed out so my (not any more) friend put a rubber band around my testicles/scrotum and this morning when i got out of bed my scrotum was still on the bed.the sack has completely distached and both testes are shrivled and turned black but are still connected to my body.will the doc be able to fix me?

Is this weird??? When I run out of tampons and is forced to use pads by itself, unless I'm wearing Always with wings, I put like 2-3 maxi pads on my underwear. I put like 2 on each side (one on the left and one on the right), and I put one all the way in the back. But the one in the back is horizontal <----------->. Is this normal?? Is it a weird thing to do?? I just don't like getting blood in my underwear, so I try my best to make sure the blood gets on the pad and nothing else. When I use one pad, it ends up moving in the blood gets in my underwear. But when I use 3, I can sleep in a comfortable position without worrying is the blood going to run down to the back of my underwear (because I put I pad going vertical in the back).
I'm not going to lie. Sometimes I do use 4 pads. But only when I'm sleeping. I don't use it throughout the day though. It's only 2-3 when I'm not sleeping.

I'm just wondering cuz several of my clients who have Alzheimer's/dementia have lost their spouses and/or children not long before they started showing symptoms and had to be placed in a home. Some people I have seen who already had it declined rapidly after losing a loved one.

I have like a bunch of pimples on my neck, chest, and back! I tried acne wash, non scented soap, and this medicine that my docter gave me, and it won't go away. This is really embrasing, I can't even wear a bathing suit or even a tank top! Please Help, cuz it would mean a lot. Thanks. :)

i have been on the combined pill for just over a week. everythings fine and im finding the pill ok to deal with. no probs. but i have not been taking the pill at the same time every day . im woried incase this doesnt protect me fully. i heard that the only reason that you take the pill the same time is to remember it. however my times have been mixed. first day - 6 oclock. 2nd day - 6 oclock, then 10 oclock and recently ive been taking it all sorts of hours! is this bad for me as im not being fully protected ? thanks

pregnancy risks aside, if you and your partner are virgins and you two are about to have sex, if you do not wear a condom, and neither one of you have shared needles, gotten blood transfusions, etc... and are sure you do not have any STDs or STIs, can you get/give each other diseases?

also, if the answer to the question i asked above is no, does that mean if you have one lifelong partner that you lose your virginity to and they lose their virginity to you, you never have to worry about STDs or STIs? because, that you have never had sex with anyone else and they have never had sex with anyone else.

im 17,,every single time i get my period i get THE horriblest symptoms ever

-excruciating pain in abdomen
-high temperature
-fever like symptoms
-hot/cold sweats
and not to mention i have to stay in bed the whole week

anyways


my point is,

im going to the doctors in a few days so i can get on the pill

so i never have to suffer this hell ever again

i know theres different types of pill/
some containing different levels of progesterone etc...

what is the one called where you completely stop getting your period?

i definitely want that!

I'm a fourteen year old female and recently I've been experiencing pain in the lower left quadrant of my abdomen as well as a fever, weakness/fatigue, diarrhea, nausea, loss of appetite and loss of weight. At first I thought it might be appendicitis but realised shortly after that my appendix is on the right half of my body(silly me). still, I'm really worried that something is wrong. The pain in my abdomen is a kind of shooting, stabbing pain and it subsides and reoccurs regularly. Does anyone know what this is and what I should do about it? Please, I'm really concerned and would like help immediatly.

I'm 19 and pregnant. I am 5'7", was 181lbs prepregnancy, and have gained only 10 lbs thus far in pregnancy (only 2 months to go!). After the baby, I plan on continuing the healthy eating and exercise habits I have learned during pregnancy (with more exercise and less calories, of course) so that I can lose 30-40 pounds, hopefully in the course of a year.

My question is if my skin will shrink when the fat does? Or will the fat go away but the skin still hang? Is there anything I can do to help this? It would be great hearing from someone who ahs lost a similar amount of weight!

I'm 14 years old and my parents never sexually inform me about anything!! The only thing my mom told me about was my period. I didn't even know anything about breaking the hymen until recently. I only found out by looking through the women's health in yahoo answers. I'm not really asking a question. I just want you to agree with me on how bad my parents are. Did your parents do this to you? Did you have to find out on you own? I believe that some things a parent need to tell their child. I would be thinking something was wrong with me if I had my first time and I started bleeding. OMG!!!

Is there anything else I need to know about, since I have to depend on yahoo to answer my questions????
I already know about breaking the hymen and my period.

It's not about me having sex. So please don't say you're too young and shouldn't be doing it, because i'm not doing it. I just want to know about everything there is to know so I can be ready when I have my first time.
