I'm a fourteen year old female and recently I've been experiencing pain in the lower left quadrant of my abdomen as well as a fever, weakness/fatigue, diarrhea, nausea, loss of appetite and loss of weight. At first I thought it might be appendicitis but realised shortly after that my appendix is on the right half of my body(silly me). still, I'm really worried that something is wrong. The pain in my abdomen is a kind of shooting, stabbing pain and it subsides and reoccurs regularly. Does anyone know what this is and what I should do about it? Please, I'm really concerned and would like help immediatly.

More then likely this is an intestinal problem. Since your losing weight. I would say you definitely need to be seen by a doctor. You may have some treatable problem if caught in the early stage. However, if you are not seen and you let it advance it will be harder to treat,.

Appendicitis pain will generally be felt from the bellybutton to your right (down towards groin, and can loop around the the lower back region directly behind this) If the pain is in this region, you should get checked out. If the appendix ruptures it can become very dangerous, very quick. Alternatively.. it could be a pulled muscle, a viral infection, etc. It does sound, at the least, that you need to see your doctor for testing as soon as possible.

I have this same problem, it happens to me about once every 4 months, It makes it so I cant walk, and the pain is so bad that I don't eat anything and lose tons of weight. I have been to a doctor for it. I'm not telling you it is the same thing, but it could be, so please, tell your parents to take you to a doctor. It could also be thyroids.

first of all, don't be so sure of your appendix being on the right. In a minority, it can be on the left.
The pain could be of Ovarian or your left colon. Need to check it with you doc. since you are losing weight, a very serious matter in a young female.

All your symptoms indicate something seriously amiss, which it does no good to speculate about here. Stop wasting time and get yourself to a doctor right away. You had better inform your parent or guardian pretty damn quick too.
Many people die or become permanently crippled through self-diagnosis. Do you really want to join them?

It is diverticulitis.
It resembles appendicitis but there is diarroea and the pain is, as in your case, on the left side.
Get a c/up, they may like to do a colonoscopy.
Good luck!

It could be any of a number of illnesses. Please ask your parents to take you to see an internist.
