I have two jobs. both require standing all day so I'm on my feet for like 16 hours a day. By the end of the night my feet are screaming in pain. lol.

Anywho, can anybody recommend any comfortable shoes that would make my day less painful? I have those dr. scholls shoes but they hurt more than gym shoes.

I have several pair of crocs...my mother-in-law is a hair dresser and has been for over 40 years and says they are some of the most comfortable shoes she's ever worn...there are many medical professionals that wear them as well...depending on the style they're any where from $20 - $40 or so per pair. There are many different colors and styles, for men and women...good luck - I really hope this helps...Granted some styles aren't really stylish, but they are oh so comfortable! Go to the crocs.com website, and see if your style/size are available, if not check to see where they are sold in your area...probably somewhere like, Dillards, or a sporting good store, etc...

I absolutely LOVE Dansko shoes. They are amazingly comfortable but are a bit pricey - between $100-$150 and the styles are limited. Also comfortable but not so expensive are Clarks. Clarks typically run a bit more narrow but definitely have a more fashionable look to them (and run in the $50-$80 range). And I know they are hideous, but Crocs carries a model that is approved or endorsed by the Podiatric (sp?) Association. Even their standard styles are extremely comfortable (I prefer them comfort wise over any of the above)and will run you about $30. It all depends on how much you want to spend and how fashionable you want to be!

Combine mlgable and palette. Then make sure you have at least two (2) different pairs that you can wear. I have three pairs of shoes and I don't work on my feet, I just walk to lose weight. I had to buy one pair of shoes at a time due to budget constraints. But rotating three pairs of shoes helps a lot.

crocs work very well if you are on your feet taht long at work.. why do you think nurses and aides wear them. check with your employer first to be sure that you are allowed DR's even reccommend them for heal spurs and such the are so comfortable they cost like 30$ though but they are worth it

You need to go to a regular shoe store where they fit your shoes. They will sell you a pair that is made for work.

Birkenstocks are also good. They also have shoes that are for the working person.

The website is: http://www.birkenstock.com
