is it normal to not want to talk about your peroid and stuff like that with your mom? I'm fine like asking more bras or underwear but i never talk to her about my period. When she tries to ask me about it i tell her to go away. I would feel totally uncomfortable talking to her about like getting me pads or tampons, but she always gets more than she needs for me. theres a problem though, she uses super tampons, and idk if i need them. i dont want to get tss, but i dont want to ask her for a lower absorbency level. ohh yeah im thirteen years old and have had my period for almost a year..... if that helps at all.

Thanx everyone for all the help on Natracare.:) But there is one more thing I need to ask. When I put in a tampon ( it doesn't matter what kind, plastic or cardboard) I'll have the applicator in, but when I press the bottom, you know to put the cotton in, It's like there is something pushing the tampon in a different direction, or down. It's like a wall or something, like the tampon can only go in so far. I know the womans reproductive system, & all that, but I need other people's help about this. Im perfectly normal, it's just I don't know if Im putting it in too far, or if im putting it in wrong. When I put it in, I lean foward a little bit, like squating, this helps, but sometimes, it still does it. I have been using tampons for almost 3 yrs. this has never bothered me, Im just curious, thanx.:)

My fiance has HPV and is on Aldara, I had my pap smear done about 3 weeks ago and just found out I have pre-cancerous cells. I was wondering if I have PRE-cancerous cells is there a possibility he could also?
Is there a test for men in this?

Recently, my dentist found a deep whole and she said she'll need a root canal!! I am ONLY 12! Last time, she found all the roots and took out the nerves, but didn't finish it so she put in temporary cotton!!! For 2 days so far, it hurts like crazy! I bought Tylenol kids pain reducer and I am only supposed to take 3 of those but I think I took more than 5!!! Then Tylenol extra strenght, I am not even supposed to take them but I took 2!!!!!!!!!! Please Help!
What can I do?? I don't want it ripped out! It's at the top, the last tooth on my right!!!!!!

Im 12 and never used tampons before only pads, I tried tampax pearl...it was 2 big and didn't bend and stuff ,maybe ob cause ur finger puts it in? i dunno,which do u think? Oh! and it hurt a little but it was bearable, is that normal (when i tired tampax pearl) ? Please help because i HATE pads! I feel like im leaking and i figure skate so it's sorta bulky...sooooo yah! My sister has diabetes. She took my blood sugar today and it was 111. The only thing i had eaten before was a muffin and that was an hour and a half ago. But i read somewhere that you are more likely to develop diabetes if you have a sibling who has it. My sister has type 1 diabetes.

light bulbs ? I melt the end with a hot blowflame and with the metal end teking off I inhale the fumes. I get the idea trick from fears and lopings in los fegas movie. I haven't gotten my period but I've been getting cramping (most likely b/c I'm going to start soon) I've already decided that depending on the mood, I'll go up to my mom and tell her I've started my period or give her a note. But I don't know how to tell her that I've got cramps or that I'll most likely start b/c I don't KNOW 100% that I'll start in a week or if I'll start in 2 months. How can I tell her that I think I'm going to start and ask to get me some pads?

I'm 13 years old, and my eyesight is terrible (-5.00 for my left eye and -5.75 for my right and it's NOT heriditary). I used to do several things that put strain on my eyes... I wear glasses already obviously, and now have to limit myself to about 100 mins a day on anything that strains the eye. I wanted to know if there's a healthy, natural way to stop my eyes from getting any worse, and perhaps, even make them get better? I already know that perfect vision is 20/20, but what is the worst it can possibly get to?
