I understand that the sleepy dirt in your eyes, when you wake up in the morning, is caused by a microscopic animal. Is this so? Is there a way to treat this so you will not have granules in the corner of your eyes in the morning?

"Mortality rates from heart disease, pneumonia and cancer for normal-weight and overweight individuals weren't significantly different, the researchers found. But underweight men and women were nearly four times as likely to die from any cause compared with as overweight individuals, and nearly 18 times more likely to die from cancer. Heart disease mortality in the underweight group was almost four times greater than among normal-weight individuals."

This only applies to over-weight & mild-obesity... severe obesity was not included in the study.

So; I was about to shower and had a VERY strong pain on my lower abdomen. It may have been cramping; but I got off my period a few days ago... and, if they are cramps, they are severe.

The pain lasted about a minute and a half and slowly faded away, but I was in so much pain I could hardly breathe or speak. Then, it happened again about a minute later... this time a little bit longer and a little bit worse. Through the pain, I was feeling like I was going to throw up and began getting dizzy. I finally got into the shower where I got so lightheaded I had to get out, lay down for about five minutes, and get back in.

Please do not just tell me to go to the doctor. I want at least a slight diagnosis so I can look up the symptoms.

It happened about 30 minutes ago and hasn't happened since. I'm still slightly light headed, but not severely.

Does my period have something to do with it? I get my period every 10-14 days and they last a week. (Putting more in More Details.)

I know this might sound stupid so don't answer if you're going to be rude. First of all, I read in a book a few years ago that if you take other medicine while on the pill, that it's possible to become pregnant. In the book, the girl was on the pill and she took some cough medicine for a cold and became pregnant, is this true? Secondly, a few years before I started the pill, I saw on the news where they said if you're overweight that the pill isn't as effective, is this true?

Started suddenly last week. Horrible pain in my lower left shin. Walking makes it worse, but it's BAD just sitting or lying down. No injury, no bite, no overuse. About 2 inches of the bone is very sore to the touch. I've taken every OTC pain med and soaked it, tried Aspercream, IcyHot......nothing gives me any relief. I just keep hoping it will go away as suddenly as it arrived--it just gets worse. I know, I need to be seen. I'm asking if anyone else has ever had this?

Hey all, I bought a pair of cheap flip flops and now have what appears to be chemical burns on my feet where the straps were...I have contacted the FDA, and they weren't much help, I contacted Walmart to alert them to the fact there might be a problem and they were SO rude I couldn't believe it. hi, a while back i had pain in my testicles and being a teenager it's hard to say this to your parents but i did. I went to the doctors and he said it was all fine but about 2-3 months later i was back becasue i couldnt get my mind at rest about the case. He sent me to get a ultrasound to put my mind at rest and the ultrasound went fine with no problems. But now again about 6 months later i have a new problem! my right testicle feels bigger than my left but as far as i can remember has always been this way.
