Wow.....you are over reacting. Chill out. A pelvis exam shouldn't break it anyways.

You're overexaggerating both the pain and the length and the seriousness.
My hymen was broken by accident during a pelvic. There was a pain bad enough for me to say "ouch." It lasted no more than 5 seconds. I got up and walked out of the office when we were done, and a single spot of blood dotted my undies.
When a dr. breaks it themselves, they use a sharp tool and it's over with in an instant. It's easier than getting a shot. Honest. Calm down and let the dr. do what she needs to do. You need to be healthy!

. The hymen is not a piece of tissue with many nerves, it has the same txture and feeling as the skin around your finger nails. Girls break their hymen all the time... in fact, you can break it from manhy activities like kicking high, or crashinng on a bike. I'd suggest listen to the doctor. He or she is trained in that area and only wants to help you and your health.

Uh, settle down a bit. Cheeze Louise.
Yes, it's very likely your hymen will break upon a pelvic exam. Yes, it's likely to bleed. Might hurt, might not.
But then who told you you wouldn't be able to walk for two weeks?

For gosh sakes -- Stop equating a broken hymen or cherry with actual loss of virginity!
It's not like we're living in the dark ages of womanhood here...Unless you're in the middle east or backwoods of africa or something...then certainly, my prayers and hope go with you!

generally you don't start to get your pelvic exams until you are sexually active. since you are not i would suggest asking the doctor why she feels it neccesary to do one now. if you are seeing the doctor to go on birth control pills for any reason even if not for the protection then they will probably want to do the exam prior to giving you the prescription. meantime you should find out why she wants to do this

Why did she want to break it anyway?
It really is only painful for a moment. You won't be hurting afterward. But unless it is medically necessary I'd save it for that one special guy.

it probably won't hurt. the pain is from being stretched during sex. not having your hymen broken. you may feel a little tug, but that'll be it. you'll be fine. you may not even have one. some people break theirs from things like sports and don't realize. some people don't even have one!! i didn't have one :)
