Gas-X will work. Also beeno. They sell lactose free milk if you like cereal.

Yeah im not sure you want to take anti-gas pills to suppress a problem you clearly have with a certain kind of food...a lot of women have mild allergies and intolerances to both Dairy and Wheat/Gluten...more women are discovering it daily as they read special articles about it and become more cognizant of how they feel after they eat a certain something...bloated definitely means you have a mild intolerance to it...a severe intolerance might mean you break out in hives or rashes, etc.

There are hundreds of great soy and rice cheeses, and plenty of substitutes for dairy that are actually delicious! It is not as hard as you think, avoiding dairy. While youre at it, you may as well pay attention to how you feel after wheat..

just stay away from cow milk. Try soy milk, or rice milk. The over the counter pills will help overcome the bad symptoms but you are still affecting your immune system because you are putting into your body something you are allergic to. Don't play around with food allergies. Learn about them. Go and educate yourself there are many good websites out there like omaxcare.com and foodallergy.com
good luck

I'm no doc, but I have IBS and sometimes have the same problem and do use the over the counter gas pills and they seem to work. But if you have an allergy to lactose you probably need to have it checked out.

See a doctor to make sure you are lactose intolerant. Lactase enzyme pills available in any drugstore or grocery.

Most people who are lactose intolerant would come close to death if they consumed anything that contained lactose.
