The tube was shaded with a tinge of blue. It happened to me. You're fine. Did you ask at the time??

It was venous blood, blood that has already been to the cells and picked up the cell waste. It is on it's way to the kidneys and liver for filtering. That is normal. The more oxygen rich blood is red.

Yeah thats normal, it looks purple when its concentrated. It can look red, black, purple just depends on how its being stored etc, absolutely nothing to worry about.

Yea Dawn C is right its just the color of the container reflecting on your blood making it look a diffrent color. =]
