So; I was about to shower and had a VERY strong pain on my lower abdomen. It may have been cramping; but I got off my period a few days ago... and, if they are cramps, they are severe.

The pain lasted about a minute and a half and slowly faded away, but I was in so much pain I could hardly breathe or speak. Then, it happened again about a minute later... this time a little bit longer and a little bit worse. Through the pain, I was feeling like I was going to throw up and began getting dizzy. I finally got into the shower where I got so lightheaded I had to get out, lay down for about five minutes, and get back in.

Please do not just tell me to go to the doctor. I want at least a slight diagnosis so I can look up the symptoms.

It happened about 30 minutes ago and hasn't happened since. I'm still slightly light headed, but not severely.

Does my period have something to do with it? I get my period every 10-14 days and they last a week. (Putting more in More Details.)

Does my diet have any significance? I'm a vegetarian and eat about 2 small meals a day (though I'm not anorexic, nor ever hungry. I just can't eat a lot.) Does my age? I'm a 14 year old female; 5'4 and 103 pounds.

Could I be hungry; or should I eat something? I haven't yet eaten today, though I just woke up 2 hours ago (typical teenager. ;]) Should I/can I eat?

Any help or further information would be wonderful. I'm putting a lot down just in case it has anything to do with it. If you need more, just ask I'll put it in. Thank you!

There could be many possibilities to this spasm. Because you are eating very little it's possible that your intestines are having spasms. That happens when there's not enough waste to successfully push out of the intestines. I definitely recommend you eat as soon as possible. That's probably why you got lightheaded.

There's also the possibility that this could be endometriosis. It can cause sharp sudden pains. You would need to see a gynecologist to have this investigated.

eat more fiber foods. Brown rice, Oatmeal and whole wheat bread. These are going to help if this is an intestinal problem.

There is no medicine for almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.
Acidity, excessive wind, cold , constipation, intestinal inflammation;Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy are their causes. None of them can be treated with medicine.
Acupuncture is the best treatment. I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.
A glass of warm water + 1/2 lemon juice + (little ginger paste if you get) will solve your problem within few minutes.
Continue with L.W. or citrus fruits for 3 days or till you feel good hunger.
Fast on cocoanut water for a day or three if there is chronic constipation will vanish both the problems.
Aglass of buttermilk five times a day (not sour) will also solve the problems.
You should when you are hungry and overcome underweight. Exercise daily when not in pain.

A couple of things I can think of that could possibly be:

1) Appendicitis
2) Intestinal obstruction

Also, it is a bit unusual to get your period as often as you state. Average is approximately once a month. You might have something gynecological going on.

Do you have a fever? If you do, it might indicate acute infection of some type. Whether you have a fever or not, it's important that you get to a doctor and not try to diagnose this yourself.

Best of luck to you ---
