I've spent the past four hours crying and i know my head hurts because of dehydration. i'm drinking a lot of water, but it still hurts like hell and i have to go to work! Is there anything i can eat or drink that will help my head feel better quickly??

2 years ago I was referred to the Hospital because I had a sore lump in my right boob . The Consultant who examined me said she coulden't feel the lump and didn't want to probe any deeper as it was very sore, but said as it was sore I probably had nothing to worry about and diagnosed me with ' non-specific breast pain'. I accepted this at the time but ended up back at the hospital 1 year later with the same lump (only larger) and still in pain. I felt they would think I was a nuisance. However, by the end of the day I had a diagnosis of Breast Cancer which was by then high grade (stage 3) and a 6.5cm tumour. My lymph glands were also affected. They did a lumpectomy which was not enough so I had a mastectomy and most of my lymph glands removed followed by months of Chemo and Radiation Therapy. I am now on Tamoxifen for the next 5 years. I am very, very tired and glad to be alive but cannot get the Misdiagnosis out of my mind . Any feedback on what to do would be appreciated.

This is my question because we see pictures of girls today (i.e.- nicole riche, mary-kate(ashley?) ) that are super skinny and are accused with having anorexia....so WHY. i DO NOT understand why this is. anorexia is supposed to equal bone skinny, yet i also see kids in africa who are starved and are bloated!

so would they also be considered anorexic?

PLEASE! help me understand! is there a difference? they both aren't eating? why does one bloat and the others don't???

My sister likes to run, dance, and walk a lot and she just started complaining about pains in her lower leg. She is about 5'2" and is 16. she probably weighs about 110, and has not recently taken a fall or tripped. There doesn't seem to be a reason for the pain. she says that the pain is in the right leg, and when she shows me the leg she runs her hand across the shin and says it stops short of the knee. she gets this after walking or dancing for a while and then sitting down, or when she bends her knees up to her chest when trying to sit on the floor. What is this pain? Is it Shin splints? Or is it just Groing pains?

i have a history of utis. but all the cultures of my pee come back negative. she suspects something is wrong with my urine. is a cathereization really necessary? i gave her a full cup of urine why does she need 2 do a catherization? she suspects bacteria from my skin is making it look like i have uti.

I fell out of a tree and hurt my ankle somehow. Basically I twisted it I think, but it's not hurt that bad and I can walk and everything, so why does it look like there's a baseball embedded under my skin? Am I hurt worse than I think? I am putting ice on it and took Advil.

FYI, I did rescue my airplane :)

My boyfriend is Italian and has normal colored lips (pinkish red) I have been with him for 5 years and recently noticed a couple dark purple spots on his upper lip. They seemed to have just appeared within the last month or so. What IS that?

Is it a sign of an STD?? Its the kind of purple that some african american lips have, like if it werent just a spot, and his entire lip was this way, it would look like some darker african american lips (I am not saying this in any offensive way whatsoever, it is just how I am referencing color)

Any ideas?

I have an issue. I am 16 years old and have a myoptic vision. My right eye is a -5.00 and my left is a -4.50. I went to see my eye doctor today and all he did was measure and look at my eyes without providing any answers on how to improve my vision. Last year I tried vision therapy for about a month but could not make see an improvement in my vision. Since I was 12 or so, My vision has been steadily detiriorating. Is it possible that it will improve later on without corrective surgery? What things can I do to slow down or stop my vision from deteriorating?

im 12 and the doctor has asked for a urine sample..now i need an answe quickly... everytime i urine in them little bottles it goes everywhere so i thought i could urine into something larger then pour it into the sample bottle. is that ok becasue there might be other germs in the larger thing i can urinate in..how can i clean it? or can u giv me sugestions ho0w to urnate into the litle sample bottles without getting it everywhere???
